I live in a cool climate and work in an air conditioned office, so lightweight, short sleeved cardigans are great to have in my wardrobe. I am 5' 10" and 170 lbs, and usually between a M and L. I ordered a M in black. It fits me well, though it doesn't have the boxy, oversized look as the model/photo. It fits more like a traditional cardigan (especially in the sleeves, they are not tight, but also not loose as in the photo), but in that way it looks more office-appropriate and less trendy. I'm happy with the weight and softness of the sweater, and it is nicely constructed. Size up if you want the oversized look.
