The cover was too small. I ordered another just for the cover because I thought they just sent the wrong cover. It again was too small. I am very disappointed in it. I am returning the remainder because they couldn't just send a new cover. Big hassle especially trying to assemble.

This item comes in a smaller than expected box for the size that it is when completed. The instructions are exceptionally clear and precise, walking you through every step of every part. There are many components to the assembly and it seems a little daunting at first glance, but after one gets the gist of it figured out, it's basically just a matter of rinse and repeat. The portable closet is good and sturdy when completed and the variety of options it offers gives alot of room for packing in so much. I used it for vertical and horizontal shelving inside an already long and narrow hanging closet where I need some shelves built but used this instead as a temporary and very economical solution. ... show more

Easy enough to put together, moderately sturdy. But what makes this a 1 star is the fact that the zippers broke before I even got to use it. They both slipped off when slipping the outer shell over the rack, and we were unable to slip them back on. Rendering this a huge waste of money. The size was perfect, the appearance was fine, but the quality of the outer shell was atrocious. 10/10 would not recommend if you actually want to use the zippers. ... show more

I've seen mixed reviews on portable closets and wanted to see for myself. When this arrived it was in a relatively small box and packed efficiently. Each bag is clearly labeled and the directions are easy(ish) once you start getting the pieces together. Pay attention to the feet because the instructions on mine called them part 'a', but they're an 'n'. Go slow and follow the steps in the order laid out. Make sure EVERY connector and pole are tight. Get a mallet or hammer if you run into issues and force a tight connection. If you have any that are loose, the cover will not sit properly. Once the bones are constructed, the fabric cover simply slips over the top. Unzip each panel fully before putting it on. The cover isn't heavy duty and can tear, so be gentle getting it over the top and down the side. This is where you'll know if your connections are right. If the cover acts like it's not going to fit, check the connections. The cover is intended to be tight and snug, but it should not pull on seams or zippers when it's secure. The cover has 4 pockets on one side that I put white paper in to show them better. I took a couple of pictures as it was going up as well. I'm hesitant to test the ability to hold the maximum weight recommended but it will accommodate my needs just fine. ... show more

Took forever to put the pieces together and by the time we did finish, it was leaning forward. To add insult to injury, as we attempted to put the cover on, it tore in three corners as the material of the fabric was thin and cheap, no stretch at all.
