To be totally honest after buying several different headsets that everybody swore by and being constantly disappointed in their quality or features I gave up. I told myself that if something was good enough for Shroud, it was good enough for me. I was right. Right out of the box they just feel like a quality product. The earcups are comfortable and very soundproof, not to mention it comes with an extra set of them. The volume control button on them scrolls smoothly, is large and easy to locate, and actually integrates with the windows volume control for smooth and seamless volume adjustment. The headset has a good range of adjustment, and can fit on both my head and my SOs perfectly. The headset is very much noise cancelling, which is great in the event you don't live alone. Now I can hear all the little details in games even with my SO yelling at her DnD party in the same room. Sound quality is great as well. Sure they aren't $800 Sennheiser super pro open backed headphones for audiophiles, but they are still the best sounding out of any of the headsets I've used previously. The only thing I can make note of is that they have a very, VERY faint white noise in the background when no audio is being played. Total non-issue since you really have to focus on it to even perceive it. The other features on the headset are all just very practical. The power switch is actually a switch, not just some button you have to hold down until it powers on. Same goes for the mute button, not only is it an actual switch that pops in and out, it has both a tactile 'click' when you toggle it as well as a digital audio cue that plays from the headset to alert you if it's muted or not. Wireless! This is the first wireless headset that I've enjoyed, and I've tried quite a few of them. The range on them is fantastic, the only place in my house where they have an intermittent connection is downstairs across the house in the kitchen if I'm near the fridge. I can be anywhere in the house and still have flawless audio, even into the backyard. I can certainly say you will not have range related issues with these things. The battery life seems fantastic as well, but the real test is how long the battery will hold a charge in a couple of years. The biggest con is honestly the mic, and really people make it out to be a much bigger problem than it actually is. Yeah, I wouldn't record music with the mic this thing has but for gaming and discord it is 100% fine. Nobody in my discord has complained about my mic quality, like they have with many other headsets or microphones. Overall I can really say I've been impressed thus far. I did not think I would fall in love with these headphones like I have.

Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset - Shroud Edition. UPdated Review :) I have worked in TV and Sound Production, this device is crisp and clear! (ONLY IF YOU RESET FACTORY EQ) I changed out the ear muffs for the 2nd set that comes with it, ( cloth ). I'm not a leather lover on my headsets :) This headset is working Great for me with a 4K HDMI2 55" TV, and my PC. Nice long battery life, and very clear listening to any subject matter. BUT!!! YOU MUST change the eq settings for different kinds of content! You can save any setting and call it what you like. Some of the pre-sets have too much bass and few high-end frequency settings. I recommend you watch different streaming services (movies, music, and voice only) until you find an EQ setting you are happy with. The software is very easy to use after a few minutes. If I'm going to spend many hours on it, I run the software in the background. The software will display the current battery level, very COOL. Use it while you are charging, or charge it for 15 mins, 3-4 hours of use. As you read through the reviews be aware that some owners don't like the pitch, complain a bit muddy, or not clear enough. This is the best wireless headset I have ever owned. It will NOT sound right because it is shipped EQ FLAT! You NEED to adjust the EQ. When I had my custom settings completed, and it was fully charged, I ran a few sound checks with different volume levels using my Amazon music, movies, and audiobooks, at the lowest and highest volumes. BTW the volume control level pops up on my screen, upper left corner, showing its current levels when adjusted, and it is very precise. My headset is hooked up to a 6' USB extension over to my PC. Quick and easy to recharge while using it if needed. If the microphone works as well as the unit itself, no worries! As with any electronic device, always go with a Big Name Brand. Easier customer service and device reliability. I hope this review will answer any questions you may have. And remember, as with most headset systems, they are shipped EQ Flat. Make your new wireless headset yours, or stay wired my friends! David

have a set of Hyper X2 these sound great for gaming, but these Logitech are better! not really a soundproof headset, But none of them are but a really good set of earbuds. but anyways in gaming, you can hear every little sound in the game, and it's so clear. the only downside is there Are only so, so, in movies. the hyper X got them beat in this. I thought Logitech only did computer stuff, mm really surprising. I'm going to get the next model up! Ok, I up graded bought the Logitech G PRO X the sound is amazing in movies it picks up everything and are actually sold prof once you turn them on.

one charge will not last very long and it has no warning of low battery. (you need a backup headphone or speaker) other than that sound is good easy to install easy to control.

The build quality and overall sound is decent. I do like them being wireless, so you don't have to take them off to get food or drinks. I have a large head so the fit is very snug but tight. It begins to hurt my head after 30 minutes because it squeezes it so tight. The battery life isn't the best, but it'll last around 3 days of gaming for 12 hours per day. They seem durable, but they seem very overpriced compared to the build quality. I tried to get a replacement dongle, but Logitech said it was too old and out of warranty so I'm up a creek without a paddle.

These Logitech Headphones are Comfortable and Well Made!! I have had them for almost 3 years and I haven't even had to replace the headset cushions even though it came with a replacement pair. I now refuse to buy any other brand besides Logitech for my everyday and gaming headset!!!
