  • I will Miss this product!! Over 2-years of use
Style: Mouse Pad
I bought this back in April 2018 and I loved it. I needed a mouse pad and I like the dense ones. This one is real firm when flat on a surface, but it's relatively flimsy when you pick it up so putting it in a bag for commute won't be a hassle. The base has excellent grip and it barely moves. Do note if you move your entire arm and drag your wrist across it, the mousepad WILL move a tiny bit of course, as any surface would. And the edges of the mouse pad didn't experience any decay what so ever. Again, this is all over 2.5 years. Anyone who says it's not durable or doesn't hold up must have used their parent's money to buy it and doesn't know how to value their own assets. It has always stayed slick and hours of computer use. I rarely clean it and it looks fantastic and holds an really good shine. It never caused any issues with DPI and the response is peak. It's also incredibly easy to clean. Spill food or soda on it? Comes right off. I've used clorox wipes instead of just water & a rag and it didn't alter the color or quality at all. The reason I am getting rid of it is I am looking to free up space on my work surface. This is a large mouse pad (about 13.5" wide x 11" tall. The thickness is like 1/16th of an inch (roughly). With my Razor Adder mouse and my preferred DPI settings, I barely move my hand, using maybe a quarter of the space in most situations. I tried to cut it with a sharp pair of scissors.. BIG NO NO. The gloss material on the top bubbled and lifted off of the mid-material like a bad tint job on a car window. If you wanted to trim this thing down, it's not going to happen without ruining it. I guess that's a good thing as it's to show how well built the ridges are. I would buy another one if they offered a smaller size, but that doesn't seem to be the case. 5/5 would recommend this product. ... show more

  • Logitech G440 Hard Gaming Mouse pad vs Steelseries hard gaming mouse pad
Style: Mouse Pad
This is a great mouse pad. Slightly larger than my S&S Steelseries hard mouse pad that it replaced. It measures 13 3/8 in by 11 in. (give or take a 1/32 in). It is a hard plastic pad not a cloth pad (which I HATE). The size is plenty large enough for gaming. The back side has a powder blue rubber pad the same size which is glued to it. It really stays in place which was one problem I had with the Steelseries pad which only has little dribbles of rubber randomly dropped on the back side. I would periodically have to wash it off so it would start gripping properly again. It's too early to tell (just got it today) but I don't think I will have the same problem with the G440. At least not as often or as bad. For thickness the G440 is about twice as thick as the Steelseries hard pad but this was not a problem for me at least since it is still thinner than cloth pads I've tried (including the Steelseries QCK/QCK+ pads, though they are close). Pro's: Good for gaming especially. Nice larger than average size but doesn't take over your whole desk. Seriously smooth gliding surface for mousing over. Tracking is precise and doesn't cause skipping. Stays put since the rubber on the bottom side takes up the whole bottom surface. Con's: The edges are too sharp out of the box. Left as is they will irritate your wrist. This should have been dealt with at the factory but see note later on for fixing this. Subjective: Slightly thicker than the S&S Steelseries hard mouse pad which may be good or bad depending on your preferences. Note: The sharp edge is easily dealt with by simply taking an emery board for doing fingernails (your wife or girl friend probably has several just lying around) and carefully removing the sharp bottom edge where your wrist slides back and forth. I used one of the black ones that measure about 3/4 in. wide and 7 in. long and it worked perfectly. You only have to round it off very slightly to remove the sharpness and then you're set. A minute or two max. and you're done. Only do a little at a time then test it and repeat if necessary. Depending on the "newness" of the emery board you may want to use the finer side. If an older board then the rougher side may work better. ... show more

  • 11% improvement after 30 minutes
Style: Mouse Pad
Performance: Initially I was worried I'd messed up. This thing was so frictionless compared to any of my other mouse pads that I didn't think I'd be able to adjust. Played a quick round of Aimlab which confirmed my suspicion, but I decided to give it a go. After playing some casual shooters for about half an hour, I tried another Aimlab test, and ended up with an 11% improvement over my best score to date, even though I'm definitely still getting used to it. Size: This thing is plenty big for low dpi users. I reduced mine by about half just to mess around and had plenty of real estate to hit 180 shots. Fortunately, it's also sensitive enough to use at a high dpi for twitch shooters like KF2 and Doom. Comfort If I had one complaint, I would say that out of the box the edges were pretty sharp. It feels like it was punched upwards rather than down, leaving a bit of a sharp lip on the edge that you can easily feel with your fingernail (or wrist). If you rest your wrist on the edge of your mousepad, this will be immediately uncomfortable. It's an easy fix with about 20 seconds of work with sandpaper or a stone, but I feel it needs to be mentioned. Other than that, the surface is not rough and despite being rigid, I don't really notice a difference after several consecutive hours of use. Summary: If you're shopping around for a fast mouse pad, and even boutique cloth pads still feel like they're slowing you down, pull the trigger on this. This is the best, fastest mouse pad I have ever used and I don't see switching back any time soon. I'm about to buy a second one for the office. ... show more
