Should’ve bought this MONTHS ago. I’m currently studying for professional exams (6 total) and have been using my iPad + goodnotes app for note taking. It’s been great! But boy does this case add a level of efficiency I didn’t know could exist on an iPad. The trackpad is a game changer! It turns your iPad into a mini laptop and I’m able to use the trackpad for most functions and supplement with the Apple Pencil for diagrams, doodles, highlighting etc. the case is well made, sturdy, and seems like it would do a great job protecting the structure of the iPad. The kickstand works well and is flexible but not floppy which is great. I do like the keyboard being detachable as I also use my iPad for digital art and it’s quick and easy to switch between tablet/laptop modes. This is an excellent price point for the quality. I was looking at the tech type case previously and got nervous about bad reviews. I’m glad I shifted to a brand I know I can trust and purchased this instead. ... show more

    • Best case for both keyboard and ipad protection

Have owned this for almost a year now so this isn’t an out of the box review. So I’ve tested about 10 different cases and this one is still on top, primarily for its keyboard. If you’re reading this you’re probably equally frustrated by all these other cases promising you instant connectivity and great responsiveness- only to sit down and attempt to write a paper that ends up with annoying typos and double letters where there shouldn’t be. Looking at you, Brydge. Especially for those working in fields with uncommon terminology or various languages that require disabling autocorrect, having “aaaa” instead of “a”s all the time can make you feel like chucking your iPad at the wall. No problems with that here, and everything’s still working smoothly after a year. So, keyboard is great. The key feel is similar to a MacBook, which I’m already used to, a bit small but expected since i have an 11” 2021 model. The trackpad works perfect for me, but I usually use the touchscreen and pencil so have limited comment. Durability! I’m pretty clumsy and have definitely dropped my ipad more than a couple of times. Amazingly no scratches or damage at ALL- can’t say the same with my older iPad Pro and it’s not so magic keyboard (RIP). Yes this case is a bit heavier but absolutely worth it. The case stays closed with magnets and wraps around the corner edges, and is a tiny bit bigger than the iPad itself which gives a little border for extra protection. Age of Covid= need to sanitize after coffee shop stints? Check. I’ve used alcohol wipes and even purell on occasion after a plane ride, working at the coffee shop, library, or sitting in a public area, and this PVC-ish cloth material it’s made of has held up just fine. I don’t anticipate dousing it for years to come, but for now there’s been no issue in terms of needing to get rid of any germs that might ride home. In short- well done Logitech. My family’s used Logitech brand keyboards, speakers, mice, etc, and for me this case continues to perform up to standard. Hope this helps others, and I’ll update this review as I continue to use this! —UPDATE I was considering switching to logitechs slim folio, which has nearly the same high quality responsive keyboard, but without a trackpad and with a flap for your pencil. The slim one is going back- it’s actually thicker than the combo, and because of the way it props up (the keyboard is only activated once it clicks into place), there’s only one possible position for the tablet. So, the Combo remains the winner in my list of keyboard/cases for my iPad. ... show more

I’m copy/pasting my review below from the original Logitech keyboard case we bought, pictures and all. (Including pics of mine in the color Sand as well.) I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks and love it. Was purchased because of how well we liked my husband’s case. The only difference in our cases functionally is that mine has the opening to charge an Apple pen. The case design has just enough of a lip to help keep the pen in place. It can fall off, but not easily, like we thought it would. Normal use in carrying and it stays securely. The original case ended up saving us from buying a new iPad after a high speed fall on asphalt. Here’s the review, made minutes ago: This case SAVED our iPad (for 10th Gen, Oxford Gray; purchased March 2024) that we are still paying for with Verizon installments. My husband inadvertently left his iPad on top of his truck and drove away. After an hour’s drive, it fell off within 5 miles from home. He used the location tracking and found it. As you would expect with that kind of impact, the case is damaged. The keyboard has a couple missing keys and doesn’t work. What we are thrilled about is that the iPad has ZERO damage. This just happened in the last 30 minutes, and I had to come on to review right away. We immediately ordered the same case, which will arrive tomorrow. You can be confident in this case protecting your iPad. Aside from that, the function and features are everything we wanted. Connectivity was simple. Just put on the case, attach keyboard, turn off iPad and then turn back on. We liked it so much, we just bought one a couple of weeks ago for my iPad Pro. Same case but for my version and in a different color, with our previous case for the pro being the Apple case with keyboard. It may not be as sleek/low profile as the Apple case, but if it had been my iPad in the old case, it would not have survived that kind of fall at high speed with exposed edges and only attached to the iPad by a magnet. ... show more
