Since working from home due to the pandemic, I began using the Logitech 930e in order to keep my laptop closed and allow me to work on my two monitor setup. Now in hybrid mode, I wanted to do the same for my work location. This time I chose to try the 925e since it still has the H.264 hardware encoder like the 930e but in my opinion looks a little more modern and I also like the built in, sliding, lens cover. Th 925e has a narrower viewing angle than the 930e but since it only is covering me during the meetings, it is a non-issue for me. Overall, I am very happy with the 925e. The video of me is so much better balanced and higher quality than the built-in webcam of my HP work laptop. It installed just as easily as my 930e without any need of additional drivers (on Windows 10) and the Logitech Tune software allows me to adjust the camera angle and picture settings easily. I gave this product 3 stars because, when it was working, it was great. Good video and audio quality and wide angle type view. However, it just stopped working one day after not even having it for a year. It was never moved, dropped etc. so I did some digging and discovered that others had experienced something similar when they updated their Mac OS. I would hope there would be some type of software update that would address the issue on Logitech's end but alas, there is nothing I can do (other than buy a new webcam). Anyway, buyer beware, this may just stop working if your computer software becomes incompatible.

If you want a future proof environment that can eventually work with Windows Hello in your environment you'll want something with IR (infrared) for facial recognition.

I got this to add to my monitor instead of using the built in camera on my MacBook Pro, keeping the laptop in the closed position most of the time. Works well, plugged into a docking station. I don't use the built in mics since I have a dedicated USB mic that's significantly better... but not saying that's the way everyone should go, I just wanted a better mic. If I power off the whole setup (once a month or so), it's a little annoying that the webcam's green LED indicator light will blink repeatedly to tell me something is disconnected, but I just leave my home office for the night and don't think about it. No complaints about the camera quality, and it has worked consistently well, primarily with MS Teams for work.

I have several Logitech cameras which are still functioning perfectly and in use by other members of my family so I trust the brand. I recently gave my camera to my wife to use and, after research, decided to try this model. The clarity of the picture and sensitivity to different lighting is impressive. The necessary drivers installed perfectly when I first plugged it in. It can be mounted on a tripod which helps me. I am very happy.

My wife, who has worked from home for a few years, has had this webcam for a few years. When I started working from home during COVID, I needed a web cam with a better resolution than my laptop webcam. Because of the quality of my wife's webcam, we purchased another, even though it is a few years old. Excellent quality and it also has a great quality speaker.
