This really holds but you can still remove a bolt, nut, or screw. I don’t know why they do this but this is BLUE Loctite even though it comes in a red container. Blue holds bolts, nuts, screws, etc. locked in place but you can still remove them with a little muscle. The red version basically welds bolts, nuts, screws, or whatever in place permanently. Blue loctite works great, bought this bottle after I ran out of me last one. Used to install some bolts on a tractor and no issues so far (I don't expect any at all). I like that fact that its a bottle with a cover and a closing nozzle like a water bottle, pull on the nozzle to let it flow down and push on the nozzle to seal it back up before add the cover. ... show more

When the bottle first arrived I thought something was wrong as the bottle was only half full. When you look up the product on YouTube, there’s an official video explaining that the air in the bottle is by design. The thread locker cures in the absence of oxygen, so the air actually keeps it from curing. Worked well on air compressor lines, great product. ... show more

"If it has a screw, it gets the blue" If you are attaching pretty much anything to a firearm, any accessory or optic that uses a screw, you should be default be using this. Or the green wicking if it's a slide on sight, or the purple if you really want to keep it light. Does not take much, and use very little if torqueing down to specification as it acts as a kind of lubricant and reduces the amount of torque used so be sure not to overtighten ... show more

It's Loctite, what's not to love. Full disclosure, it only arrived yesterday (almost 2 weeks after purchase) and I have not yet used it but after inspection, it appears to be what it's supposed to be. I say that because it's from India which I was not aware of when I hastily clicked to buy. Don't care of course, other than for the idea of.... why India? I can drive 5 miles and get pick it up. Arrived in a cloth lined, paper envelope. Very nice, though unnecessary. Not a complaint but it is Loctite. Either way, assuming it's what it's supposed to be I'm happy with the purchase.     • Bigger than it looks!
I have two Harley’s and I have lost parts from each bike as I am riding down the freeway. One is the heel shifter and the other a nut holding the air cleaner from the vibration . Since then i religiously but a few drops of loctite to all my bolts. I don’t know what I was expecting but this bottle is a lot bigger than I expected….not complaining just pleasantly surprised! ... show more

Building an engine up, my ARP flywheel bolts called for this as a thread sealant, so i bought a nice sized little bottle. I ended up using this on nearly every bolt during the assembly process. holds well, stands up to oil, and removal is not too difficult.     • An old standby
I have used this product for years. Currently using it to tighten drawer pulls that have a habit of coming loose over time. This should stop that problem! I have several projects in the offing that will get the advantage of nuts staying secure.
