I purchased the LIXIANG Folding Walking Cane for daily assistance, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. This is really a huge choice because you’re trusting something to help you or your loved one from falling or feeling wobbly. If you are hesitant about buying a collapsible cane because you're worried it might feel flimsy don't be. My 75 yr old Momma recently fell and hurt her butt and leg and I looked at so many cane reviews over and over and bought one that look and sounded good but I wouldn’t trust it to keep her safe because of different safety concerns with the build. This cane has Zero "Wobble" Security: Many folding canes click together but feel loose at the joints. The secure locking mechanism and smooth slide-lock on this anodized aluminum frame lock together tightly. It supports weight smoothly (rated up to 250+ lbs) without any flexing or rattling. At just 0.8 lbs, it doesn't fatigue your wrist or arm during long walks. It breaks down smoothly into a compact shape that easily tucks away into a tote bag, car seat pocket, or carry-on luggage when you're dining out or traveling. The contoured T-handle fits the palm naturally. It significantly reduces palm fatigue compared to standard hard-plastic handles, making it much easier on arthritic hands. The cane has really good traction and I love how you can switch between three bottom ends depending on how confident you feel. My Mom started off with quad end with four pounds of contact that is also self standing. You also have a self standing pivot end and just a regular peg end. A quick tip, for the best ergonomics, adjust it so the top of the handle lines up perfectly with your wrist joint when your arm is relaxed at your side. It has completely restored my confidence when I’m not right beside her when she’s cooking, doing laundry and solo errands. It’s a wonderful mobility aid for yourself or an excellent, practical gift for a parent or grandparent. Completely worth it!!!

Great stability and snazzy too!

I’m 62 and in fairly good shape, but I had two horrible falls in December. My equilibrium and weakness for having to lie around so much got me really weak to the point of needing something to steady me. This is freaking awesome with the variety of types of ends for the cane. I got the purple one. As active and vivacious as I usually am I was not bothered to have to use one. It was very comfortable and easy to extend or shorten depending on your height and really snazzy looking. Very easy to interchange the different “ends” for what works best for you. I think the size would work for most and in my opinion it is very high quality.

Excellent Stable Cane, But I Wish the Buttons Were Easier to Push for Folding

I am a senior with knee issues. I am looking for stability and safety with a cane. Once you get the cane and put it together with the foot that best meets your needs, I think you will love this cane. I bought the cane to use with the 6 point foot. It feels sturdy and stable, much more than other canes I have. It also has a soft and cushioned handle. Without all that padding your palm will start to ache from the pressure you are putting on your hand, so this is an excellent feature. The reason I took 1 point off, may not be an issue for everyone. I have arthritis in my hands. So I find it difficult to push in the buttons that attach the parts and adjust the height. The cane came with the elevated quad attachment on the cane. So I had to push a button to put in the cane top portion, then I had to push another button to remove the quad base and its cylinder. Next I needed to push the button to add the part that had a cylinder and the tip base attached. After I got that in I had to figure out how to remove the tip base, so I could get the 6 prong rubber base on. Pulling that base off or unscrewing the one I did not want also took hand strength. When I finally figured that out getting the 6 prong base on was easy. I took me at least a half an hour to put the cane together. This would not be a problem if you had someone to help you with it, but it was for me. Prior to receiving this new cane I was on an airplane trip. I needed to be able to fold my cane up and put it in my carryon luggage. I would not have been able to fold it within a reasonable period of time for my plane travel. I will be using this new cane to put in my car to use when I am outside. I feel good walking with it and I will not have to fold it for this use.

A heavier, very stable, thoughtfully designed cane .

Heavier duty ,very stable cane. My other canes with the wider rubber tip still fall over easily and somewhat wobble, seeming to come down on a center point despite the spread. This cane has a solid stable base and gives confidence. It has the extra benefit of the little lever which is solidly attached. If you like a lightweight can, you might find this one a little heavier but for myself, it gives confidence stepping out. The base plate is aclever rectangular as opposed to a square,, longer from front to back so is less likely to snag on things. The metallic bright purple pink is joyful and makes the cane visible as they never are where you need them.. A good purchase.

This is a replacement cane . It comes with different tips depending on what is best for your disability. I like the easy adjustments for perfect fit. Easy to fold so it won't be in the way, with velcro to keep it closed. I like the curvature of the handle as well because it helps keep the cane stay on a table end or where you want to set it down without being in the way. It is very sturdy.
