Perfect for our cows on our ranch. Our only place to put them was telephone poles. The screws supplied were not strong enough. Cows broke them off. We bought lag bolts.

Absolutely LOVE this scratcher for my animals!!! The scratcher is perfect for both my goats and my horse. My horse will use this scratcher for her neck and face. I used bailing twine to tie the scratcher to my fence, and it’s holding on just fine. I ended up getting a second scratcher, and I drilled it into a spool for my goats. The scratcher comes with some heavy duty screws to make sure it stays secure. The scratcher is very lightweight, which is nice for moving it around and installing it. The bristles are hard, but not so hard that I’m worried about them hurting the animals. They are sturdy, and this product is going to last a very long time. Absolutely no complaints!

I don't have any cows but I do have a large dog that like to rub up against trees and corners. I hung this up on a porch post and he quickly figured out what it was. It is definitely his new favorite toy and I see him get up for his naps just to rub up against it and then go lay back down.

Ordered this Livestock Scratching Brush - Cow, Horse, Goat, Livestock Brushes For Scratching for my farm animals. My goats have always love to rub and scratch up against barn corners, post, and even light pole. My Lassie Collie dog does as well. While recently shopping online for some farm and garden supplies, I saw this HD bristle brush that mounts on pole, and/or multiple applications. After reading about how strong it is and firm bristles and heavy duty design, I ordered it for my animals. Love this brush. It's very well made and heavy duty. I put it on my light pole next to barn and shop and the funny part is that it's always "Crowded" around the pole and them using this brush. It's comical to watch them all. Also, my Collie loves it. He starts on one side at his nose and rubs all way back to his tale, then turns around and does the other side. It's just fun to watch them all enjoy it. Their all like kids with new toys!. I like that the center base is very well made and tough. It came with HD mounting screws/bolts. I have to give this a (5) star rating and do recommend

What am I reviewing? I am reviewing Zhuo-LeLe’s Livestock Scratch Brush, with included mounting hardware. What did I receive? I received a somewhat sturdy, non-branded, non-retail like rectangular plain brown cardboard presentation package measuring “about” 17½” x 7½” x 4½”. What’s inside the package? Inside was a typical livestock scratch brush and its mounting hardware, which consisted of two (2) skinny bolts with their nuts and two (2) skinny screws with their plastic anchors. Describe the brush. As expected, but for the colors; It’s built for rugged use, as its construction is heavy duty, and the bristles on the brush have proven reasonably durable; the bristles are divided into three (3) sections, accented by two (2) color schemes, starting with black then green, then black again. If it were not for that green, this brush would almost not be noticeable from a good distance, especially during early mornings and/or late evenings. Length of the brush? The overall length of the livestock brush is a good (17”) long. This is a typical dimension. Diameter? The brush is one-half of a circumference. The outer circumference is 3.125”. The inner circumference is about (1.9375”). This is a typical dimension. Weight of the brush? The brush weighed in at two (2) pounds and (10½) ounces. Again, this is a standard weight among this design. Heavy-duty bristle base. The plastic base, which the bristles are inserted into, is a whopping (½”) thick and contributes considerable weight to this. It’s really a very heavy-duty base and I have little worry that heavy pressure will crush. Bristles. The bristles are relatively stiff and measure 2.125” in length How many rows of bristles? This is where there is a difference, from left to right there are (32) outer rows of plugs. Each plug holds a certain amount of bristles. Of the (32), there are (8) plugs of black, followed by (15) plugs of green, and then (9) more plugs of black. Columns of bristles. I count (9) columns of bristles, which is about 40% less than a competitor. Plugs. Each plug of bristles is about just about (4)mm thick, which is under ( ¼”) of an inch thick than average at 5/32nds of an inch. What that says is that there are less bristles in each plug, which is smaller than average. How many bristles in a plug? This is another significant difference, anywhere from about (10) to (12) bristles per plug, which is less than “half” of the bristles a typical livestock brush has. Mounting. There are only two (2) bolt/screw holes in the plastic base of the brush, which are about 7.85mm in diameter, which is smaller than another. [I think it possible to enlarge them, although I did not.] Performance? Strong, durable, capable. Instructions provided? None Instructions needed? None Installation? Intuitive, just need the correct base to mount this on. Country of origin? Made in China, so noted a UPC sticker, nothing on the brush. Brand? No brand name was listed on the box, nor the brush. Thoughts? I thought this would be the “exact same” as other generic livestock brushes, I have, however, not so, this has plugs of brushes with limited bristles, so the bristles bend more, making the experience less capable, than a brush with more bristles per plug. Hardware. An assortment of skinny light to medium duty bolts/screws were provided. Flex points? No, this is solid, there is no flexing of the base when pressing against. Sturdy? Not a single bristle fell out, after vigorous testing. Value? I think this provides good, but not excellent value. Reason being, there are considerably less bristles per plug on average. Further, the retail price, although about (10%) lower than the average livestock bristle brush, is about (30%) more, as competitors are providing coupons of as much as an additional (40%) off, which is a big number, pricing the competitors in the teens, whereas this is more expensive. Is this perfect? No. Rating? Four (4) stars at best; from what I can tell, this is more expensive than the competition, however, has less bristles per plug, which makes this not as sturdy in my opinion. I hope my thoughts added some additional information.
