The drawers are so narrow that a standard copy paper can't be put flat. It's possible to put the paper in a simple file and store standing in the lowest drawer which has the highest hight, but if the file is big then it cannot. Are there what seems like a million pieces? Sure... can that be said for most furniture you need to put together yourself?.. YUP! We ordered some adhesive white board to put over the chalk board because chalk drives me crazy and was super easy to put over before assembly. Easy upgrade and 10/10 would recommend. Desk top is super easy to wipe clean and the drawers have simple pull tracks with a stopper to stop them from coming all the way out. They hold a good bit of stuff as well as do the containers at the top. We wanted more workspace for homework in 1st grade and this desk is absolutely perfect for her school corner in our living room. She gets her own space and I get to sit on our comfy couch while helping. Win. Win. Easy access outlets are nice as well so when she brings her computer home from school it will be super easy for her to plug it in as well as her tablet. ... show more

One of the drawers was missing the 2 plastic inserts for the lock screws. I tried to jury rig the door face. Did not work. Ripped the door apart, even with predrilling for screws. Overall a great product, minus the mistake on their part. I left the drawer out.

Nice child friendly desk with some durability. It took quite some time to put it together. There is however some false advertisement. Out of a 20+ piece desk to put together, maybe only 3 of those pieces are real wood. The rest of the desk is manufactured wood just like any other cheap box furniture. I even went to Little Tikes website to see if I could read into the products information about it being “real wood”. The information is exactly the same as it is here. Ultimately I don’t think it’s worth $200. However, it is sturdy manufactured wood pieces so I don’t think it would fall apart anytime soon. It was also missing a hole for one of the screws, and though I have a tool box, none of those are electric so I ultimately had to go without. I may go back and put a nail in its place just in case. Not a fan of the plastic drawer slides either. In a world of technology the outlet connections is a huge plus. My child does enjoy having the desk for sure so if you want a desk that’s not really small(as most children’s desk are) but also not a standard size desk then this is it. ... show more

I received broken and damaged pieces. I looks like I was sent a desk that someone had returned..very disappointed as it was a gift for my son for Christmas.
