Update: I bumped the rating up from 3 to 4 stars because this lipstick grew on me and I end up using it a lot. Like mentioned it is easy and not fussy to throw on, that’s what makes me gravitate towards wearing it often. The finish of the lipstick also grew on me (I was used to super matte dry finish) and now I don’t really mind it as much. I would recommend! I ended up getting multiple more colors, my favorite is “your go to” which is a beautiful medium neutral nude! I would recommend this to busy ladies and moms on the go! First off I was sent the WRONG COLOR. So annoying. I was sent the color “speak up” which is a medium pink color. The name satin ink is a little deceptive. This is like a long wear gloss stain. The swatches pictured are of the color freshly applied and then worn off. The finish is definitely tacky, which is annoying. On the plus side it’s very comfortable and not drying and lasts for a long time. It’s definitely NOT transfer proof. It will come off on whatever cups, straws, whatever you put your mouth on. I will probably try another color (the color I originally ordered) because I like that the formula lasts for a long time and is not drying on my lips. I ended up keeping the incorrect color they sent me because the pink color is nice and different than what I normally wear. The formula reminds me a bit of a high end YSL gloss stain I’ve tried before. L’Oréal also has a similar product to this I’ve tried. I have a love hate relationship with this product. It has pros and cons. I normally wear matte liquid lipsticks but I will be using this product for days my lips are dry and I haven’t exfoliated them. The application is pretty easy to do, even while in the go. I normally use a lip liner with matte liquid lipsticks, but I didn’t need one with this. The wand is a nice size and shape. This is a nice product to grab and run out the door on the go because it doesn’t require a lot of fooling with. I often times grab this and throw it in my bag when I’m running to the store so I can throw it on in the car. It’s always a plus to have a lip product like that when you have kids because sometimes us moms are busy lol! If I could give it 3.5 stars I probably would, only because the finish is tacky and I don’t feel it has a satin finish like advertised.

In my 20's in New York City, where a dress code was NO exception, especially if you worked for a top World Beauty Corporation. I always needed a red/coral lipstick that would complement the two opposing temperatures of fashion colors, besides waking up my face. Revlon had Fire & Ice that I could wear with no hesitancy of day or night or dress color. This lipstick had a smooth texture with A delivery of moisture besides complete pigment that remained true throughout-- that is quality. I was content to have found this shade, which surprisingly many acquaintances would notice and comment. Knowing how Companies would turn over shades, I bought a few. One day this color took a whole page of advertising in my Glamour magazine which informed the reading public that it was 40 years old due to its positive impact for a few generations and many awards for Revlon! Thus, I was not alone to have known the variety of appeal. All I knew was that my face would light up with this shade for all seasons. NO coincidence FIRE: for Hot & Ice: for Cool. 50 years have gone by with different delivery systems for this shade. The liquid is great since it won't smear and can be drawn with certainty, especially if your lips have transitioned. Lasting power is crucial, without concerns for a retouch! I am very thankful that in an always changing world that Revlon recognizes this Immortal shade....

I was looking for a nude color for the summer and this one is a winner, although it looks pink it’s not, more a natural pinkish brown color, last long time ( if you smoke, drink a beverage it won’t need to reapply) after putting on wait a few seconds for it to dry( if you only use just a little it won’t take long to dry, I put several coats ( depending how I’m feeling) on and it dries to a semi matte finish, no odor at all , not sticky as well, very easy to apply and most of all it looks absolutely stunning on me, i brought two to last me the summer. I’m so very pleased with my new lip stain .

I can't find the color I like of Cover Girl Outlast any more so I thought I would give this a shot, and sadly, it is nowhere near as good. While I do love the color, it's a little awkward for me to apply. I also find that it stays sticky for a long time so I have to be careful about drinking from anything while I'm wearing it. It also tends to bleed a little whereas Outlast never did, and doesn't stay on nearly as long.
