I am in love with this dress!! I found it, loved the look could not believe the price was so inexpensive and brought the dress shortly after. I did not purchase Amazon recommend size 10, I purchase my normal size which is a 12 and it fit my curvy body perfect. This dress is thick, amazing quality and just fits my body exactly as I had hoped. I did not take a picture as I need a few alterations. I need straps to keep the twins in place and need it altered as I am short and the dress is a little too long, besides my personal preferences of alterations the dress is perfect. We aren’t getting married until end of 2024 so there are no updated wedding photos to show but I definitely recommend this dress. So much better in person. The dress is very heavy. Very well made. Very beautiful. Nothing flimsy on this guy. If you are a smaller gal, try switching the big rope for a shoe lace size, totally makes a difference in the corset. But I'm truly so happy. I was nervous about ordering a dress online, but after looking through the reviews and seeing pictures of real women wearing this dress, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! I'm on a really tight budget for my wedding, but I wanted this style and when I saw this, I said "I really like this one". It was the first dress I tried on because, again, I'm on a budget and can't afford anything that is sold in our local dress stores, and I've decided to keep it! I personally want to take it in just a smidge on the waist so I can cinch in it tighter, but it fits well as is. I am normally a medium (sometimes small) and I got a size 4. Follow the measuring instructions provided by the seller and you'll be just fine. I got the lace-up back btw. The lace is beautiful, the skirt is nice, and the bodice is very flattering. It is a great quality for the price. I have a few minor complaints: 1. The arm bands are too big and even lacing them up all the way doesn't help. I'm gonna have to find a way to sew up the lace so that it fits my tiny arms lol 2. It is heavier than it appears in the photos. Even though our wedding is in October and the weather should be fairly mild, I am concerned that I'm going to sweat to death in it. 3. It smells pretty bad. I opened the package and it smelled as if it had been sitting in a musty warehouse for AGES. I think it will be fine if I hang it out to air for a while, but it was somewhat alarming when I opened it. Overall, though, if you are considering trying this dress, just do it! ... show more

We eloped in the Bahamas April 2023 & stayed on a sailboat for a week. The dress traveled so well. It was rolled up in a bag but no need to iron which was perfect for where we were. We took a small boat to a deserted sand bar & had dinner at a Nice Restaurant after. The dress was a little heavy but held up so well with the wind, sand, water & I received so many compliments. The reviews helped me make the decision as I was nervous about buying a dress on Amazon, so I'm paying it forward now. I kept coming back to it as it's so beautiful, durable, looks great on all body types & the price was perfect. I'm 5'4, 150 lbs, & first ordered size 8 but sent it back as it was too big. Custom ordered a size 6 with my measurements & it fit perfect. I ended up taking it in slightly right before leaving to get the corset mid section tightened as my weight had changed a few lbs. The seamstress said the zipper would have been easier to alter than the corset I got if that helps anyone that has fluctuating weight. I loved the dress. I sent in my measurements and they were very easy to work with. I had requested a bustle added and was not told that wasn’t possible but the dress arrived without one. I ended up needing the sleeves shortened so just had a double bustle added by the seamstress. For a custom options dress, it shipped very fast. It’s not too heavy and the lace isn’t scratchy. The only thing I did not like was the built in bra. I wear a D cup and while there was enough room in the bust area, the cups were way to small. The bottom of the cup came up across the middle of my breast almost. I had to wear a strapless bra for support which wasn’t a huge deal but the built in bra was a major reason I ordered the dress. The lace pattern hide the fact that the bra didn’t sit right but be aware if you are bigger busted that might be an issue. I saw another review stating something similar happened. The seamstress said she would have to rip out the “bra” to fix it then the lace may not have lined up the same so I chose to just leave it. I’m not sure if my measurements were off but we could not get the corset snugged up from my bra line down, it was as tight as we could get it but still kind of loose so didn’t shape as well in the lower back. I should have taken and inch or so off my waist measurements since the corset back allows some give. I’m sure this was my error though. For the price, the dress was amazing. I got a ton of compliments and the seamstress was very impressed by the quality the dress when I told her I got it from Amazon and the price. I went barefoot, we were on the woods and it rained. We stood in a creek for photos and the dress was surprisingly not ruined by the end of our trip in to the woods. I was sitting on wet moss covered logs for photos also. It rained the entire time and the bottom was filthy. I hung it on the shower rod with the dirty bottom in the tub. I rinsed it off then filled the tub with hot water and oxy clean to let it soak.
