    • You can do it. Probably.
Listen. You're going to read a mixture of reviews. Some will say it's super easy. Some will say it doesn't work. Some will apparently be reviewing another piece of furniture by mistake. But I'm going to shoot you straight. And I've been a contractor/construction worker/tradesman for almost a decade so this wasn't my first rodeo. Ultimately, this table is as attractive as it is difficult to assemble. Which is, in both cases, a 7/10. Will your hands hurt? Yes. Will the holes fit the screws assigned to them? Somstimes. Will there be enough felt pads for the legs? Doubtful. Will there be hairline cracks in non-load bearing pieces? Likely. Does it tell you the correct sides to use on the benches in order to get the desired right or left-hand configuration? Where's the fun in that. Will you finish it in "about two hours" like you told your wife? Lol. Will you be able to assemble using only a screwdriver? Perhaps if you're the Doctor. Otherwise you'll need a kobalt ratcheting screwdriver with a flexible extender head (14 bucks at Lowes, lifetime warranty, beautiful tool), some gorilla super-strength wood glue, and a drill to [carefully) widen the holes for the E screws that hold in the center seat, NOT to tighten screws. Also whiskey. But not for the table. You'll also need small bandaids and advil for your hands because there's a buttload of screws that have to be hand tightened into under-sized holes in order to avoid irreperably damaging the thing. So, this is your grip day. No deadlifts within 2 days on either side of assembly. Be sure to switch out hands for that symmetrical Popeye look. Or don't and get that crusher-claw lobster look. Either way it'll be a heck of a lot easier to open jars next week. Let me level with you. If you're here it's because you are looking to save some money on a table and this table knows that. It will remind you of exactly how cheap you are and how far you will go to save a buck every minute of the job. This tables wants you to know how much it will cost you to save money. Anybody who says it isn't sturdy is probably a quitter who isn't willing to shed blood for the sake of tightening that 478th screw all the way. Do I blame them? I do not. All in all, it's going to be what you need. But only if you have the humility to crawl, scrape, beg, bribe, and cuss your way to the finish line. If you're reading this and wondering, "am I up for this?" It's probably one of those "if you have to ask you can't afford it" kinda situations. If you're reading this and you're the manufacturer do not send me replacement parts I do not want the trouble. I would sooner take a graft of my own skin than take any part of this table apart to repair it. ... show more

So the table is BEAUTIFUL. I love the wood, it’s textured and I didn’t expect it. It was a nice surprise. I was worried it was going to be small, it looked smaller then I expected before I put it together. But once together it was perfect for a family of 6. It’s exactly what my kitchen needed, my kitchens not very big and the layouts not the best so this corner nook is perfect. It fits so nicely. Now I will say that 2 pieces of the wood spilt when assembling. 1 of the split is fine (i guess) because it’s not noticeable. The other split is noticeable and I’m going to have to fix it. I’m upset about it because I was extremely careful putting this table together to avoid anything like that happening and it was completely unavoidable so that honestly sucks. But it’s fixable so it’s whatever, it’s not worth sending it back or anything like that. I put a picture of the worser of the two splits that happened to the wood. I am a female, 125 pounds and I put this together completely by myself.. I’m not a builder or anything like that and I’m saying this because anybody can put this together. If you have help, even better, I just didn’t. This took me about 5 hours to put together alone and I put it together with the long side on the left. The instructions are for it to be on the right side. It was easy to do it backwards.. you just need to read and pay attention. The only thing that threw me off is you need a rubber mallet. It doesn’t say that but there’s no way your putting this together without it. A rubber mallet and a screw driver. I used an electric screw driver and thank the lord for that because it was extremely helpful. But overall beautiful table, definitely worth the money. I love this table. I read reviews that the building process was hard but to me it was pretty standard. Only issue is they don't have step by step instructions if you want to build the long side on the left they just tell you what parts so I guess that is where some people can get confused but it's pretty self explanatory. The only thing I don't care for too much is how bumpy and uneven the table is. I know that's the look of the table and I love the look but you'll need a clip board or something thick on the table if you need to write something down. It is a nice table & nook and sturdy as well. Also going to purchase cushions for it soon so it's more comfortable. ... show more

(Pictured above is compared to my IKEA breakfast table that it was replacing.) For Reference: I’m 6’0” 235lbs, I can sit comfortably on any section except the corner piece. Pros: decent quality wood (pine)- supports a lot of weight throughout the table and it feels secure. LOVE the colors and couldn’t find them anywhere else. It fits really well in my townhome and maxes out space in the dining area. Cons: ordered June 16th, Arrived Aug 17- one of the back pieces was slightly damaged during shipping- fortunately it was only cosmetic (the drawback to using pine). It took ~10 hours to put together, and since I wanted the long side “reversed” the instructions weren’t super clear… All in all, quite satisfied with the dining set- just need a rug underneath it to really round it out. Decided to replace our square breakfast table in the nook area with this set to take advantage of the unused corner and create more space and cohesiveness. It did not dissapoint and worked as planned. It took a bit longer to assemble because we switch the layout and configuration since we wanted the longer side to the left.
