I wasn't sure about how these would look in the living room, as the pictures showed a great variety of lighting scenarios. But they turned out fabulous and look great in both the sliding glass door area that leads to the patio (a bit darker) and the front window that gets quite a bit more light. If you're looking for a mix of shabby chic and country, than these are for you. The olive color was tempting, but the blue matched better. The color I'd jus to describe them is slightly lighter than denim you'd find in the late 90s (if you know, you know.) The curtains are thicker than you'd expect for the price (they're a great value) and fit just as I expected. The color looks rich without the sun and airy and see-through with it. I got a gray/brown sheer curtain behind it and absolutely love the way they look together (pic included.) Without the sheer, it obviously looks a bit brighter. Absolutely love these curtains! I got the khaki with white embroidered design. Nice weight, embroidered design looks finished and is well done. The rod pocket is wide enough for a large circumference rod size. They hang well right out of the package. They let in very nice, filtered light. They're decent for modesty but I would not call them privacy curtains. With light on the interior of the room, they easily show outlines with some detail. Probably not great for a public facing window unless paired with some additional sheer backing drapes but great where there is little visibility to interior in evening hours when using them without sheers. ... show more

These curtains are so pretty. They are light filtering but I have room darkening shades so that’s not a concern. I can also leave the shade open during the day with the curtains closed and still get lots of light but people can’t see in through them. This is the second time I have purchased these as we are snowbirds so I have them in each of our primary bedrooms. No flaws, hang beautifully, no upturned ends at the bottom. I can’t say enough good things about these. They give such a softness to the room which adds comfort. My curtain rod was already up so when these arrived they were too long without changing the height of the rod. I simply folded over the top and clipped the rings on. Where do I begin... these are freaking fabulous! I love them so much. I had a burnt orange lace set with tassels before these and we decided to keep the tassel look but go with something more calm. Not so overstimulating. We got blue. The quality is amazing. They're heavy! Not cheap looking by any means. They do have a slight smell initially but it's gone after a day. We got the 96in size because they don't have a 90in. So I'll need to adjust the rods eventually. Just beautiful. ... show more
