We have lived here for close to 40 years, and I have bought blackout curtains before, but these are the best I’ve ever found. We have a west facing sliding door and usually you can see shadows through the curtain. Not with these! I just hung them, it’s a bright sunny day, and no light is getting into my dining room at all, except for the top of the curtain, which cannot be helped with any curtains. My dining room was actually almost dark at 4 in the afternoon. They were wrinkled out of the package which can’t be helped, and had a very slight smell from the factory, so I popped them in the washer on gentle cycle with cold water and dried them till just damp and hung them up that way. That was much easier than ironing them, which is what I saw most people did in the reviews. It’s 6 hours later, the smell is gone, and they look great! I also bought them for my east facing living room, which is very bright on summer mornings, and I can’t wait till tomorrow to hang them! They are very well made with straight seems and the backing held up very well after being washed. They seem like they will last. They colors are beautiful, I bought the sage and the glacier gray and love them both. The sage is perfect in my dining room. A very tasteful and soft muted green. I love sage but I’m very picky about how green it can be. This is a perfect Sage. The glacier gray looks like it will be perfect I my living room. Very clean and simple drapes that are super easy to hang. I thought the price was great too. Two windows and a sliding glass door for about a hundred dollars is a very good deal for this quality. I have bought a lot of curtains over the years as my tastes change and having children and cats is very hard on drapes. I’m very pleased with these and hope I can find the same brand again in a few years when I need to. These are awesome for the price and I would definitely buy them again!

I decided to give these a try after first getting a quote for custom drapes for a sliding glass door and a window. The quote was $2700. Yes, that's right, $2700. No way I'm going to spend that kind of money on drapes so I gave these a try, half expecting they'd look so cheap I'd have to return them. But, no, they are beautiful. Just $133 total for two floor length panels for the sliding glass doors, and two sets of shorter curtains for a wide window. Are they perfect and sumptuous and luxurious? No, they are not, but they hang beautifully and look really nice - a neat, sleek, modern look. They did have a chemical smell so I washed in cold water without detergent. No problems with the wash - backing was not damaged. I let them dry in the sun and then steam ironed them. (I believe they can be tumble dried but it was warm and sunny here so I hung them on the deck railing to dry.) Most of the chemical odor is gone and I am delighted with this purchase. Literally about 1/20th of the cost of custom. I'll use that $2500 for something else, thank you very much.

These curtains are THE BEST. I have these curtains in different sizes and lengths along the back of my home downstairs. I have them in the living room, on the sliding door and in my kitchen above the sink. We get direct sunlight and it gets HOT! These are a nice heavy material and block out the light and heat very well. These are better than any other curtains I have purchased at Costco, home goods, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc. I also ended up buying some for my sons room after. And I have some of the same brand but a different style in my dining room. These are very nice and neutral and do a fantastic job of blocking out the light.

I really love these curtains and the color is exactly what I thought it would be. (I got the color Stone) They were a good price so I was a little hesitant about what the quality would be like but they feel great and they block out the sunlight without making it feel like a dark sheet is covering your window. The material is very soft and the color has a nice depth to it. We used these curtains on our sliding glass door to the backyard that faces the sun and usually lets the heat in making the house hot. With these curtains up, you can feel the difference!

I wanted to wait before writing a review. I've had the drapes up since purchase which I think is a fair amount of time to do a quality review. The wrinkles do not come out. I purchased a steamer to help with removing the wrinkles. Other than wrinkles, I LOVE these drapes. They are perfect. Truly. They are as described and worth every penny. People who have visited my home compliment them and ask where I got them. Some are surprised I found them on Amazon vs in a shop in our area. They are high quality, bring an elegance to my great room.

These are the best blackout curtains we’ve ever owned! They make a huge difference in light in the room. They are thick and help protect against hot weather (looking forward to see about the cold) and keep the house insulated. They help with the noise outside. We loved them so much that we have every window on our first floor using them. If they have the colors we need, they may even be bought for our bedrooms as well. They gave a huge upgrade to our first floor looks as well. Really worth it!

I used this product to cover the large picture windows in our 100 year old cottage office. the windows are old fashioned and not energy efficient. We rent this house as a office and replacement is not up to us so we were looking for a way to save energy, stay cool and still keep the charm of the space.
