These blackout curtains are BEAUTIFUL!! I wanted a soft white that didn’t favor gray, and researched a ton before buying. I bought the ivory, pure white, and natural to see which looked best. The pure white was a cool white that looked gray in my lighting. Also reminded me of outdoor cabana curtains due to their thickness. So I returned them. The ivory and natural are equally beautiful - for those who can’t decide, the natural is a warm light beige, not much darker than the ivory. So close that I had a hard time deciding lol. But in the end the ivory is what I kept because it was the soft off-white I was looking for. I feel like it would be chameleon-like and would go with warm and cool tones. They have a little sheen to them, and are a decent weight, so very classy look/feel to them. And for those wondering how silver grommets look with a dark rod I’ve attached a photo - the silver reflects the dark rod and you can’t even tell. They do block out all the light and are great for privacy too. Don’t hesitate to buy these - best price and best quality!!!!!!! Now I’m off to steam out the wrinkles … ... show more

I ultimately purchased curtains for 3 windows. I wanted black out so when guests come they can adjust light exposure to what they like. I have a son and daughter in law that live over seas so is important they have virtually no light. Curtains are nicely folded and packaged. There was tissue paper on the grommets to prevent scratching and a piece of corrugated to stop package from bending. There is a white coating on the curtains that helps with blackout. The fabric is nice and heavy. I love the look. There are obviously wrinkles from being folded for shipping and other wrinkles throughout. I expected this. I took a long time to trying to get out as many wrinkles as possible. But some are set in. Plus when I pick they up and hold to hang there’s more wrinkles. I mention this mainly for people that think they are getting a wrinkle free product. I don’t think that really exists. But the fabric is heavy enough I believe the wrinkles will diminish. The length for all of them is 108”. When I hang them the rod bracket is at about 106” since there is fabric above the grommet. One bedroom window is 107 wide. I wanted to make sure I could have some stack back and when pull shut don’t want them to just flat so I purchased 2 100” panels. They’re perfect. A second window is about 78” wide and again put up 2, 100” panels. My third window is fairly narrow measuring 35” and installed 2 52” panels. While the curtains have a nice weight to them they aren’t bulky. Curtains all have nice finished edges and hems. The colors I bought were navy, stone and stone blue. The curtains are of solid heavy material. We really like the subtle patterns that give the curtains more character than a solid color. They do an excellent job of blocking light out if that's what you are after. We were able to get most of the wrinkles out of the curtains by using a traditional iron which took a little bit of time since we bought the largest available size. We bought 4 sets and we experienced two minor issues. One of the curtains (of the 8) had a black streak across the outside facing side of a curtain on the white backing material. We were able to hide the mark given our window setup. The other minor issue we experienced was an inconsistency in the length of the curtains. We bought the 108" version and saw variations of an inch or more between the different sets. Overall we're very happy with the curtains given the material, the look, and the functionality for the price paid. We would consider buying more of these. ... show more

These curtains are amazing! I had to buy something that would help keep the sub out and help me on my electric bill. The only light that comes through is the light from the very edge and on top of the curtains. No sun comes through the curtains at all and keeps my living room dark (with the minor light coming through on the sides and too). My ac doesn’t run that often anymore because the curtains are helping. My living room stays so much cooler. I’m in love with these curtains and would recommend them to anyone! ... show more

I should have bought these curtains 10 years ago!!! My neighbor two doors down installed a security light in their backyard and it lights up my bedroom like it's full on Close Encounters at night. Ugh! These curtains block the light at night and the sunlight during the day. My bedroom is the hottest room in the house because it's west facing and gets the afternoon sun and it keeps my room cooler and blocks out the light. I love the style and length.
