I have been looking for something so my now 18 month old could just have a fun space that's just for her and she loves this teepee. She has started playing hide and seek with me and she "hides" in her tent or in the closet but it's hilarious. The tent is a bit hard to put together like I wish you could put the poles in from the top and the base is just ridiculous. It does feel flimsy and my daughter sometimes shakes it and freaks me out. I'm only considering returning it though for something a bit smaller and more solid. I left the tent up so I think we need something meant to be a more permanent fixture. ... show more

I only gave this 2 stars because the base of the tent appears to be defective. The instructions are a single page with just pictures. It shows the base as a square with 3 sections in each side. The base is like tent poles with a string holding the together. Instead of each side having 3 sections, two of our sides only have two sections so it is misshaped and the tent doesn't fit in the base. I've reach out to the email address on the box and waiting for a response. Will update if I get a response. Otherwise this looked like it would have been easy to assemble. Update: The company responded to me and did send me a replacement. While the base for the replacement worked, one of the poles was broken. Between the 2 I was able to get everything to work and my daughter likes it. ... show more

I got this for my 2.5 yo grandson. He LOVES his little private spot! I got him some flashlights and lanterns and that’s all he needs!! It’s fair quality, def good value for the money. I love the tent, but it was not easy to assemble! It tore in two spots while following instructions, and within a few days the circle entrance lining started coming off. I also think the poles may be fiberglass, cuz when i was putting the back bottom pole in it tore the sleeve and i accidentally slid it across my thumb- i got two tiny slivers from it. The star lights are very pretty and vibrant but also very stabby. Edit: its been a few months now and im having to throw it away due to lots of tears and fiberglass concerns. Taking it down (which was a struggle) I got 5 different shards in my hand. Not worth the money if it means kids and parents arent safe. ... show more
