I chose the white color for this cropped cardigan. I like that it is a classic color and looks nice with the gold and black buttons on this cardigan. The knit is chunky, and medium weight. The edges on the cardigan have a tendency to curl up. Overall I think this is a nice piece for work or casual wear. I think it would look very nice in black. Overall: I actually really like this sweater. It's not the fanciest sweater in the world, but I have put it into my regular office-wear rotation. It could be dressed up or dressed down. Pros: + This sweater fits as I expected. I ordered this sweater one size up, so I could wear this over some of my more billowy sleeved blouses. Having sized up, it's bordering on baggy, but it does fit over my puff-sleeved blouses. + It is a medium to heavy weight sweater; it is definitely not for the summer. It works perfectly for a chilly office in the winter/fall. + I like the buttons and the style. The cut is quite boxy, and neckline is wide and low. The whole sweater looks like a late 80s/early 90s business-wear throwback. However, despite the cut - it is not structured. That makes it more casual. + The construction is pretty good; no loose threads, no holes. The sewn-on pockets are lined up with the pattern of sweater. Other Info: - Since it is an acrylic 55%/cotton 45% blend, it's not particularly soft. It's not scratchy, but I definitely own softer sweaters. The material also means you should be careful when washing it. Acrylic is synthetic fiber, and acrylic will melt if it reaches a very high temperature. ... show more
