This robe is exactly exactly exactly what I wanted! You can wear it straight out of the shower but it’s not so thick as to be a bulky, fluffy blanket. Very soft towel-like material and nice big pockets. Something told me to size up from the recommended size and I’m glad I did. I got the muted blue one and it’s a gorgeous color.

I bought this robe because I needed a lightweight robe but did not want the standard waffle fabric or satin. This is perfect. It is a lightweight terrycloth fabric, perfect for all seasons but winter up north. It is light but not sheer or threadbare like cheaper robes are. There is no bulk, but it covers and is substantial. The fit is outstanding. I have long arms and the sleeves come to my wrists. It is made so that if you want to turn the sleeves up to shorten them, it will look natural. The same goes for the lapel. Contrary to other reviewers, I found the bottom to close just fine. The fit is refined, not casual and floppy. I wanted something that looked neat and fit well enough that I could hang out with visiting family and not feel half-dressed. I wear an XL in about everything and this fit exactly. I may buy another. UPDATE: I am so in love with this robe! I wear it daily and wash it frequently and it still looks and feels new. People have given it a lower rating because it is not absorbent and does not dry fast and I agree. If you want a true towel-like robe for right out of the shower this is not for you. I am buying an second color today.

I don’t often write reviews but had To for this robe. It’s exactly what I wanted. I had another terry robe with the waffle pattern but it is so heavy. I recently had my shoulder replaced and had a horrible time getting it on. Anyway I bought this robe and am sooo much happier. It’s light weight yet still warm. But even better, it has a little bit of stretch to it. That makes it much easier to get on. The color is beautiful and I’m not finding any strands of cotton. I love it.

This robe is not your typical terrycloth fabric used for bathrobes; it is a softer, brushed fabric. It is comfortable and fits well however, it is NOT absorbent.

So I wanted a nice oversized robe when I come out of the shower and I’m still a little damp after drying myself to put on a robe and then do my hair and make up this robe is amazing. It is lightweight large enough super comfortable. And oh so soft! I couldn’t be happier with this robe

So I love the light weight fabric. Runs a little larger than I assumed it would, which is fine. Could be softer. I assumed it would have had the inside ties as well to help hold the robe closed but it does not..which makes it not wearable in front of anyone. Had I known there were no inside ties I would never even have considered it. I waited too long before I actually used it so I can't return it. I guess if I'm ever in a material store..I'll have to buy something to sew on the inside of both sides to be able to help hold the robe closed properly. The belt that's with the robe runs small so it's even more of a inconvenience sitting with it on.
