There was a notice that was not part of the User Manual. It stated that I could extend the one year to two years by emailing. I really didn’t expect a response but I received confirmation of my extended warranty within a day. WOW! The mirror works just great. I have it mounted right at my eye level. Love the rectangular shape, to me it makes it non-ordinary like all the other circular mirrors. The three degrees of lightning is great. I don’t have an electric plug near the mirror so was glad to find a battery powered mirror. Haven’t had it long enough to have the battery recharged. Though I don’t have a plug nearby to recharge the mirror I figure I can use my portable charger for it. Glad I bought this.

Edit: After contacting the company about this problem, they sent me a new mirror. In return, they requested a video of the mirror light NOT working. Yeah. Let that sink in. Regardless, they did send me a replacement and I agreed to edit this review. If, however, the new mirror fails to hold a charge, I’ll be re-editing this edit! I must admit that half of the problem was that my problem arose after the Amazon return time limit had expired and my main frustration was that I could not locate any way to contact the seller. Keep all documentation and test the lights many times during the Amazon return limit! After the first installation attempt, I quickly found that its screws must go in a stud, as the mirror and the length of the "arm" is too heavy to be installed in wallboard. Once it was reinstalled, I fully charged the battery and liked the way it illuminated my face perfectly. After two or three short uses, the lights no longer would turn on. There is NO warning and no way to know the level of battery power remaining in the unit. I double-checked my charging cable, but nothing would recharge the mirror. A few days later, I again plugged it in and after it turned on once, it lasted only a few seconds before the lights went out again. Since my installation helper had delayed installing this mirror, the initial Amazon return time was past, so I began searching for any link that might send me to the manufacturer's site, but to no avail. If anyone can locate the actual link to the manufacturer's site for warranty issues, please let me know. Amazon offers no help at all, and yet allows this company to continue to sell without any way of contacting the manufacturer. I'm just thankful I tried it myself before giving this same lighted mirror to a friend as a gift. That would have been very embarrassing! Please beware!

My only regret is that I waited so long before ordering. This mirror is perfect in every way. Super easy to install, charge last for a long time and is so simple. The thing that I think that makes this particular mirror stand out from the competition is it's oval shape allowing you to see, hair face and neck. The different light settings work great the magnification is a great strength, nit tio much or too little. I hadn't been able to wear eye liner for yrs. now I can apply a fine line with ease. Certainly a must have addition for any bathroom. When installing, I suggest you place in a somewhat close proximity to one of your outlets for easy charging, though the cord is a decent length.

Mirror was excellent, however the light power eventually died and it refuses to take a new charge. Only ordered this item 90 days ago so the return window closed. I would have given this 1 star, but since the mirror IS excellent, I gave it two. If the seller is reading this, I would like an exchange. Update: My daughter found the issue. Apparently, you need to use a lower rated charging plug and not a high speed USB plug to charge the mirror. Once we switched to an older USB plug, the mirror charged just fine.

I was looking for a larger makeup wall mounted mirror. This fit the bill. Love the oval shape. The touch light works smoothly. It's a good quality product with one exception. The wood screws that came with the unit were low quality. They bent and stripped out easily. My husband purchased a package of screws (PAN HEAD Phillips #8×1-1\2 in, zinc). Installation was a breeze after that.
