I purchased this product following crashing my off-road motorcycle and injuring some ribs. Wish I'd purchased it before. They are light weight and unobtrusive. My only suggestion for someone looking for rib protection is to get something more rib protection specific. The ratcheting tighteners on the sides are difficult to use.
