I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these shams are given the price of them. They are soft stitched together nicely, no stray threads everywhere. There is a fold over enclosure so pillows don’t hang out & they fit true to size. Nothing worse than ordering a set of shams & when they arrive pillows do not fit although you ordered correct size. I ordered them in black & was well aware that they could easily attract lint, dust, hair & surprisingly it hasn’t been all that much of an issue. I use them on a day bed that serves as a couch & it gets a lot of use , so far it’s all good. Very pleased with purchase. The 4 Star rating is simply for the fact that these are not Egyptian Cotton but that isn’t what I purchased or expected. Love the look of the pillow cases, the fabric is like middle or the road soft, not stiff. But the fabric is quite thin so I don't see it holding up well over time. And if you were jw, its not thin enough to see through but just thin compared to normal/most pillow cases. I gave it 3 star because of the thinner fabric/lack of longer term durability so the cost and pillowcase itself is middle of the road to me. ... show more
