I absolutely love this Memobarco 40” farmhouse coffee table! It looks beautiful in our living room with its rich walnut finish and modern farmhouse design. Bit of a task putting it together, especially screwing the hinges. I wish it were easier to align them better, but maybe it was just me. Other than that, it's a pretty decent convertible coffee table.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It offers more storage than I expected, so that was a nice surprise. I chose this option primarily for the storage and the ability to decide which side lifts and slides out toward me. That feature allows me to place it against the wall while still accessing the storage and using it as a desk. I will say it is not quite as tall as I would have preferred, but I am still able to place a standard chair in front of it and use it as a desk as intended. I am currently looking for lifts to add a bit more height and may purchase them, not sure yet. I also appreciate that when I am not using it as a desk, it blends in well with the other furniture in my living room and does not look like a desk at all. I personally chose not to use it as a table, which is why I am able to `keep it against the wall, but it is nice to know that option is available if I decide to change how I use it in the future. The only improvements I would suggest are the height and possibly a slightly better wood quality. However, considering the price, I believe it offers good value. The reviews were also accurate regarding the assembly process. It did take quite a bit of time, about four to five hours, but I expected that going in. I was able to put it together on my own by laying out all the pieces around my living room in order and working through the steps. It was time consuming but manageable. Only time will tell how well the hydraulic lift system holds up, but so far it has worked well. I assembled it about three weeks ago and have used the lift almost every day without any issues. ... show more

I’m obsessed with this table. The farmhouse look is spot-on and it feels much higher quality than I expected for the price. The lift-top is the real winner here—it’s super smooth and doesn't slam shut, making it the perfect height for working on my laptop or eating dinner while watching TV. I absolutely love this coffee table. Assembly is definitely a bit of a project — there are a lot of pieces and quite a few small parts, so it takes time and patience to put together. But once it’s finished, it works extremely well and feels very functional. What really makes this table stand out is the convertible design. It works as both a coffee table and a dining table. You can lift and expand it easily, and it comfortably works for four people to sit and eat. That’s a huge advantage in an apartment or smaller living space where you want furniture to serve multiple purposes. It looks great, functions well, and makes excellent use of space.     • Mismatched piece of junk. Threw it away.

Several parts did not fit tight. Also, gaps and one side part was about 3/16" off so we could NOT get the 2 holes to match up. One side piece stuck out about 1/4 inch further than the other side. This turned out to be just another piece of junk from China. After several hours we realized we would never get the holes to match, we requested to return this piece of junk and that was approved. However having to take it apart and pack and ship it we cut our losses and threw this piece of crap in the trash and ate the $179. plus tax. Never again ! ... show more
