    • Fantastic cleaner for old paddles
We recently broke out our ping pong table that had been in storage for years. The paddles had collected quite a bit of dust that worked its way into the textured rubber. They had no grip, making it impossible to put any spin on the ball. I came across this product while searching for new paddles to buy and thought it was worth a shot to clean the ones I already owned. As soon as I received the product I sprayed down a paddle, scrubbed it with a nylon brush, and wiped the grime away. It was amazingly effective. This cleaner really seems to pull the grime to the surface where it can easily be wiped away. Once the paddle dried it had all the tackiness of a new paddle.     • Made the rubber slippery!
Made the rubber slippery instead of tacky. Lost of gripping power. Opposite of what it was intended for. Felt like oil based. Compared to Buuterfly foam which cost twice as much. Sticking with Butterfly. Returned!

The sponge hardens up after the first time I cleaned the racket. Washed it couple of times thinking the spray liquid was the reason. Cannot use the product anymore.

    • It works. You can see the dirt coming off paddles, but it's just marginally better than water
This ping pong paddle cleaner really works. When I applied this directly to my paddle, you could SEE the dirty water coming off of what I thought was a slightly soiled paddle. I didn't realize how much dirt was harboring on the surface of my paddle. So it really does do the job. My biggest issue is that there wasn't a remarkedly huge difference between cleaning the paddles with this solution vs cleaning with just plain water. Both gave a nice upgrade in tackiness after cleaning, but this was slightly better than using water. The casual user who wants to save money might not need such a product, but the more discerning competitor might appreciate the extra tack acquired from using this solution. I would, however, exercise caution in how often I use this as I have heard that these solutions wear down your paddle with excessive use (I can't verify this). I wish I had recorded when I cleaned my paddle so you could have seen the oodles of dirty water being rinsed off as I cleaned them, but I didn't. I'll be sure to update this review when its eventually time to do another full cleanse of my paddles. I hope this review help someone. ... show more

TLDR: Great on newer paddles to restore tackiness, great on all paddles to clean! Recently, I got a ping pong set with two paddles and a clamp on net for on the go playing. While not the fanciest set, it was perfect for us to take to the park or beach and not worry about losing or messing up our nicer paddles. With cheaper paddles though came paddles that got dirty and scuffed faster. We decided to get this cleaner to compliment our new set as the bottle fits perfectly into our carrying case and we wanted something that would enable us to simply grab and go. After playing some ping pong today on a picnic table (that we lightly brushed off, but not cleaned), we put this cleaner to the test. In my before picture, we have one paddle with various pet fur, dirt, dust, and oil. We sprayed the solution onto the paddle, and wiped it off using the included sponge. As you can see from the after photo, our paddle looked new again and it restored the tackiness. We also tried this solution on a paddle that we've had and used for about 2 years now, with minimum cleaning. We were able to easily clean the paddle, but the solution was not able to restore the tackiness on that paddle much. Not surprising as this paddle has been heavily used for 2 years with barely any maintenance. I think this solution works great on paddles that already have some life left in them, but for paddles that are truly thoroughly used there is only so much some spray can do. I think if I keep up with spraying our newer paddles, this solution will allow them to maintain their tackiness for much longer. ... show more
