I wear a 9W or 9.5W depending on the shoe brand. I ordered a 9.5W in this one and it was actually still a bit small. However, I have been wearing them a few days and they're stretching out so now they are no longer uncomfortable. I really like the style - I wear them to work, they are comfortable to walk in, have a low heel so look nice but zero strain. The strappy design with the buckle is very cute. I've ordered LifeStride before and the quality is fine. They are all man-made materials, so won't last the same as leather, but I know that I'll get a decent amount of use from them. I bought these to replace a pair of low booties that wore out. They are a little lower on the ankle than the boots, more like a shoe on top and a boot on the bottom. But they're very comfortable. They have a short zipper which is almost unnecessary. I wanted to buy something that was real leather, so they would last a long time, and these are synthetic, but they were inexpensive yet still very supportive and well-made. I put the right shoe on first felt little loose width wise but felt great on arch, was excited because they are really cute. Left shoe is tighter thought maybe had mixed up two different sizes..nope both marked 7.5M. Debating whether to return or not. These shoes aren't top quality boots like my Durango rebels or my ariats but they are cute enough. I needed new shoes asap! I ordered the regular and returned it for the wide, not too strange for me. I'm between a regular and a wide all the time. What bothered my is the memory foam insole. Basically, it's 1/8" thick memory foam. As a professional upholsterer, I can easily explain that memory foam stays compressed when there is pressure on it and doesn't pop back up quickly. Why this is a problem in a shoe is the time between steps is not long enough for the foam to decompress. Basically, stepping on a board each time you step. The fact that there was so little of it is not surprising. The logic is that it doesn't take much memory foam to work. In reality, it doesn't matter how much you use, it won't help! So I ripped out the insoles and put in some cheap $2 ones that have some cushion to them. I spend a lot on insoles for my boots or I buy birkenstock shoes. For shoes I intend to wear for dressy occasions only, the cheapos are fine. I did buy 3 brands of similar shoes and price points and these were the only ones I really could wear. The others looked so plastic! I am a person who prefers genuine leather to faux, vegan, or plastic vinyl, depending on how you want to word it. These are a decent looking fake. The sole has some flex and grip, the heel doesn't click and the zipper seems decent. I'm hoping they last a while with the minimal wear they'll get! ... show more
