I have to disagree with a lot of the bad reviews. My sister got me this as a Christmas present and I absolutely love it. The phone fits super secure and the three different armbands are great to match your arm size. While I can't speak for the reviews that are saying the sticker magnet adhesive falls off during subzero temperatures I will say if you live in California like me or similar temperate regions I haven't had a problem with the adhesive. I like that I can also adjust the armband to however tight or loose I want it. It helps me feel like I'm not cutting off any circulation in my arm and I oftentimes forget that it is even there. Also, it doesn't pinch your arm or leave crazy marks after your take it off which I really like. The build quality is superb compared to all the other armbands out there. Although the magnet adhesive is very minimal I would say the only thing I don't like about it is that it is on your phone case permanently so if you're a person that likes keeping things aesthetically pleasing I would suggest getting a cheap plastic cover to have as your running cover so you don't have to put the adhesive on your nice everyday cover. This is the best arm band I have tried in the 7 years of running. It takes a bit of time to get used to the clip, but after a few times you get used to the clip. You do have to pay attention every time you clip it in while you are running, which does cause some distracted running if you are running in the city or on a trail. The overall comfort is great, I do get some scratching without a tee shirt on, chaffing on my torso from the band. I can generally readjust it to minimize it from happening. The extra bands allow for any size person to get a great fit. The elastic has held up great, never feels like I can't get it to stay where I want it to be. I am a very heavy sweater and this thing has held no stench, or broken down at all. I have taken a couple tumbles over the past year and my screen did get scratched, but that was more my fault. I don't see how it could ever fall out of the clip, it stayed on no matter what. I have put this thing through the wringer and it has stood the harshest tests almost anyone could put it through. I run roughly 80-100 miles a months and this is my daily driver. I will be replacing it when I need a new one, but feel like I should get at least another 6 months out of it without an issue. Really would only need to get another band not the clip.

***Update**** I really love all of LifeProof’s cases and have been buying them for years now and I was super stoked on this armband, while it worked, it functionally was the best I’ve ever used and very comfortable. But the adhesive came off after 8 days. During that time I used it for one 9 mile and one 13 run and it came off during the second. I’m really sad about it but I’m returning it to find a different kind. —> As a note: my phone case is a LifeProof NËXT and I followed the installation directions precisely. I even waited 48 instead of the recommended 24 before using it on a run. Overall love this product. I run 20+ miles a week and being able to quickly use my phone here and there without completely taking it off my arm is game changing! Really love it. At first I wasn’t sure about how it felt jolting slightly during movement but I got use to it pretty quickly. I don’t notice it hardly at all anymore. —-> One big note! - Do not use this with a Qi wireless charger! Even if it does make enough contact to charge, it will heat up the quick mount and could potentially melt your case/fry the phone & charger. Thankfully I had only used it for a half an hour and when I came back to pick up my phone, the quick mount was too hot to touch. (Also it only charged 2% during that 30 minute period).

My family and I run in different events to keep active...or else we'd become couch potatoes! We've tried a few different types of armbands over the years as they'd fall apart or when we upgrade our phones and the old armbands would no longer be compatible with our new phone. I really like this armband compared to the others I've tried. This armband makes it possible to be used with ANY, I repeat, ANY, phone or phone case. All you have to do is attach the QuickMount to your phone or phone case and voila! It's done! The other feature I love is the fact that your phone is not in a plastic pouch. There are so many times that I would try and touch something on the screen of my phone and because there was a plastic cover and it wouldn't read my finger. On the other hand, I miss having the plastic pouch because I would slip my hotel key or a debit card in it in case I needed something while out running. I'd much rather have better access to my phone's screen than a pouch on my arm though. My husband and I were leery at first though because we were worried that the new way of attaching the phones would not be secure. We kept imagining ourselves running and then all of a sudden our phone fall off our arms! We've ran hundreds of miles with this armband and have not had that happen once! Other than my love/hate emotion of the pouch, my only suggestion would be better instructions on how to apply the QuickMount. We actually applied it incorrectly the first time and my phone would hook on vertically instead of horizontally (you can have it either way, I just prefer horizontal).

The quality of the strap and locking mechanism seems to be pretty sturdy. The armband seems very sturdy and secure. The only issue I have is it is not as easy to lock in and release the device as per the advertisement video. The adhesive on the locking pad is very sturdy. I have gone running and it holds up very well. I wish it would easier to mount the phone hence the 3 stars. update: the width of the stick on clip doesn't see wide but it will keep you from using the QI charging station...a HUGE loss of convenience
