I think they discontinued this, but I have about 3 of them at this point. This is comfortable over a shirt but not on skin. Once I set the Velcro where I want it, it generally stays in place even with months of running. The design seems to be sturdy and durable.     • Nice two-piece design ensures maintainability
I have had several other armbands over the years, including the previous generation Lifeproof armband, and I think this one is the best so far. I already own the QuickMount belt clip, so my phone has the QuickMount adapter affixed to it. Within 60 seconds of opening the package, I had this new armband ready to go. I'm a fan of the QuickMount system's simple connect/disconnect and locking mechanisms. This armband just takes the QuickMount mount and packages it in an armband form factor. It does take a bit of practice to align your phone to the mount while you're running, but the attachment is quick (truth!) and engaging or disengaging the lock is a simple matter of flipping the switch. Many other armbands feature a single-piece design, but, like the previous Lifeproof armband, requires replacement of the entire armband when, say, the "hook and loop attachment" (velcro) stops working as well as you would like due to excessive use -- yeah, I'm guilty of wearing out the velcro in several armbands. This problem has been solved in this model with a two-piece approach: the main QuickMount mount and a separate armband with velcro-type connectors on either end -- the package comes with 3 different lengths so that you can use the one that works best for you. To be honest, I can easily use two of the sizes, so I have one replacement taken care of already -- Bonus!. I don't see why Lifeproof wouldn't offer replacement bands for sale in the future. Most armbands secure your phone in a pouch and strap that pouch to your arm. This one is a little different and there is a gap between your arm and the phone. The gap is about the width of a finger, which is convenient since you need a finger to flip the lock switch :) Just be aware that this can be unexpected for those accustomed to the other designs. I have not found it to be distracting and my phone doesn't "wobble" on my bicep while I am running. Note that you don't have to have a Lifeproof case to use the QuickMount system, and you don't even have to use it for a phone. I don't know what else you might want to strap to your arm, but if it has a flat surface large enough for the QuickMount adapter to attach, you can set it up and go. I have already used this armband during several workouts and races and I am very happy with it. ... show more

    • No good for me
I was skeptical about this since the reviews were 50/50, but tried it anyway. The reviews said that the magnet was too strong and you would not be abke to remove the phone. That was true for me as well, but the adhesive that stuck to the phone was not strong at all. I attached it to my phone and went for a jog, 3 blocks later, my phone fell off and I returned the arm band the next day!!! Smh ... show more

This is my second set of these cellphone band is strong and durable you can run with them or walk like I do. If there is a chance of light precipitation, I turn the headphone and charging port upside-down but why would you be walking in torrential rain? a must buy a second or third time. I am added to my last review this is a update 5/29/2025 I brought 2 more of these arm bands because they are great durable when you walk over 5,000 steps racking up miles of walking for me 300,000 steps for the month it stays where it want if. it stays in place if you are doing sprints these will be as a backup to keep in my gym bag. if you are working out inside doing floor exercises or bike and treadmill this works for that. as well riding your bike some people mount their phone on their bike this arm ban I know where it is if I have to run into a store. this is my 5th one or these bands! ... show more

    • Essential to keeping up with and protecting my phone
I have been using this armband for years and rely on it for keeping up with and protecting my phone. I keep my phone on vibrate to avoid being in awkward situations when I forget to mute it. As it is on my arm, I am much more aware of notifications than I would be otherwise. I can also immediately view the screen to see who is calling. The magnet holds the phone tightly and will not release until physically released, which is a one-handed, quick and easy process. It has different length bands included to allow for different arm sizes. The only reason I marked it down a star was that recently I have had trouble with the bar separating from the cover of the main piece that connects to the band. My husband has fixed it with superglue and it works well, but this is a new and repeated problem I have had recently and I don’t think it should come apart so easily. ... show more
