I will always buy a life proof case for my iPhone. It’s my summer case for traveling - beach, hiking, pool - it protects against all the elements. Especially greasy fingers from all the sunscreen. The only negative is the camera cover is so big (iPhone 13 pro) and gets smudged easily. If you’re trying to take good pictures definitely keep the microfiber cloth on hand (that’s included). There’s also a warranty with every case and you can send it back and they’ll send a new one at no cost.

I bought this case before and it lasted about 5-6 months. This time the back screen only lasted 2 MONTHS before the pictures became blurry/foggy-like. I have to take the phone out of the case to get a quality picture defeating the purpose of keeping the phone safe. It works great as waterproof case. It keeps the phone safe if it falls.

I can say for certain that this case is waterproof. I’m a river guide and keep my phone in my pfd while I swim!! The down side to this case is the lens protector gets scratched too easily. It’d be nice if there was a lens cap that could come on and off for extra protection. One thing life proof used to do back in the day that I wish they’d bring back is the lanyard hole on the case so I can attach it to me when I pull my phone out on the river. If those two features were added, this case would be prefect. It would actually, then, be truly life proof.

Three days ago I overestimated my paddle boarding abilities and my phone in this case went flying to the bottom of the bay when I wiped out. The visibility was poor, so forty minutes later I finally spotted it 10’ below the surface. Still functioning. And dry. So this is the third massive save I can attribute to Lifeproof - 1) running my phone through the washing machine 2) driving over it in my SUV and now 3) 40 minutes underwater. Let not count the numbers drops that are standard, but those are pretty frequent too. Why only 4 stars you ask? Honestly the plastic for the case itself is a bit crappy. Quality has dropped since Lifeproof started. The camera cover scratches easily and I find myself replacing the covers often if I want clear photos. But for someone who lives at the beach I’m thankful for the peace of mind this case offers. So if you legit need some waterproof protection, this is worth it.

I ended up having to get a case just a few months after getting this one because the camera area ended up peeling and wearing down to the point that you could not even see through the camera clearly and take pictures so I ended up having to take my case off every time I wanted to take a picture which could have ended in me dropping my phone and definitely did not feel safe. It’s a very expensive phone And the purpose of a case is to have it protected while you are using it. I love the color and really wish the camera part was not so jacked up because I would’ve used this case for so much longer. Kind of a waste of money. I’ll use it if I go kayaking and just use hubbys phone for pics I guess

I read all the reviews about it, not being MagSafe and not fitting perfectly, but I bought The purple one for an iPhone 13 Pro, the case fits perfectly and works with MagSafe on the stand and with the flat plug-in charger. I’m very very happy with this purchase.
