Although they are named “Lifelong”, there is a limited warranty, so that is slightly misleading, but was clever on the manufacturer's part. Arrived on time. It gives the chair a bit more height which I like. The wheels roll smoothly and move with ease making little to no noise which is nice since the room the chair is in is on the second floor. Simple to install, just pull the old wheels off of the chair and just insert the new ones.

These wheelse are amazing, because they are made of rubber, when you are rolling around in your chair it's VERY smooth a and quiet. Super easy to install just pop out your old wheels and pop these right back in. They even give your chair a little lift which is nice. Probably my favorite Amazon find!

i recently tried 8 different soft casters (for hard floors) – 6 of them were roller blade style like this. lifelong is very good (second best), but read on for my recommendations on the best ones i found. lifelong was one of the few brands i tried with axle bearings packed with the correct grease for this low-RPM application. they spin very smooth and easy in-hand with many revolutions per spin. however, compared to uniq brand which are silent and also very low friction, they have a 'bearing' noise when you spin them. you can't hear it in normal use, though, so no worries. one thing to improve: use 608 RS (rubber seal) instead of 608 Z (metal seal) axle bearings to keep out more dust. also, instead of a riveted axle, you should be using a bolt and nut so the user can disassemble the casters and easily clean out hair and dust stuck in there. since these casters have larger-than-normal wheels, there is a greater horizontal offset inherent in the design. this increases the bending load (torque) applied to the swivel bearings. if you look at the reviews and pics, this is the failure mode. lifelong uses a single bearing for the swivel. i believe the double bearing swivel design used by uniq (and atomdoc who probably copied them) is superior because two sealed bearings are pressed into a tube for more support. rollerblade casters have what i call the 'direction change issue' – rolling around on them isn't that smooth because often times a wheel will be at 90° to the intended direction of travel and won't budge. you have to wiggle the chair around to coax all the wheels into alignment. after trying many brands, i can say they all exhibit this on hard floors if your full weight is on the chair. however, both lifelong and uniq were a bit better in this regard than stealtho. they are very quiet so far. product: lifelong rollerblade casters (blue)

These wheels were kind of expensive I thought but my husband had researched them and said these were the best. Well he was right. They were easy to install and work perfect on hardwood floors. They glide so easy. In fact my cat jumps in the computer chair and slides across the room with the smooth wheels. They do make your chair a bit taller. I would definitely recommend these.
