Currently reading and unfortunately wont be able to finish it in a day because I'm raising my babies lol. It is starting off good. Don't be swayed by these negative reviews. It's been 20 years since The Coldest Winter Ever. I assume they haven't read the Porsche Santiaga book or any of the Midnight books. Of course its not like the first just like those books werent like TCWE. This broad just did 15 years in prison! This is not the same young girl(but she def acts like it) and the author ismt ghe same age she was when she wrote it.     • This isn’t the same author that wrote The Coldest Winter Ever
I’ve only made it through a few chapters but this book confirms my suspicion that Sistah didn’t write The Coldest Winter Ever. The writing style alone in the first book compared to the other spin-offs don’t compare at all, This isn’t the work of someone who pinned arguably one of the greatest urban fiction books of all times. Let me start off by saying I’ve been 10 years to read part 2 and I must say I’m highly disappointed Smh and even see myself reading the whole book and I think a lot a ppl who have also been waiting will be disappointed.... for me this is by far one of the worst books she has written and if I could I would have asked for a refund on this.... just so disappointing ... show more

I read the first in elementary school and had been waiting for a a follow up. I’m thirty y’all that’s a long long time to wait for this super disappointing and confusing book. I only read a few pages and HATE IT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS A WEIRD BOOK WHERE SHE’S APPARENTLY IN A COMA BASICALLY DEAD. I wish I could get a refund this will not get read this is a terrible book and she could have kept this. I’ve read the first and porche’s story so many times but will not read this even once.     • Sucks, don't waste your time or money
What in the hell is this?! I waited all these years for this! Definitely getting a refund. I tried to get through the 1st 30 pages.. absolute disappointment! Major fail. Shouldve just left winter in jail. This book sucks

    • Not worth your time nor money...
I’m 30% into the book and I am trying my hardest to keep reading it. I like the idea of her trying to do something different but it just didn’t get all the way there..after wait almost a 20 years for this sequel I am highly disappointed. If I could get a refund I would..guess I will just continue to read the 1st book once every few years and simply forget about this one.. ... show more

I really did try. I just could not get into this one like the first book. I may even try to read it again. I made it to chapter 6 and just gave up. I really wanted to like this book.
