  • These are great little receivers. No problems whatsoever
These are great little receivers. No problems whatsoever. I am wondering if the users who said they will not bind were binding it properly. The way the pins are, it’s very easy to miss a pin so that things are not plugged in correctly. I had trouble binding until I realized I did not have all the plugs in place correctly. Fix that mistake, and they work great. For me, just as good as more expensive receivers. I could not find any instructions, but had no trouble because they bind just like any other spectrum receiver. So these might not be the best receiver for a novice who doesn’t understand how to use them ... show more

  • Works well, lightweight.
As others have noted, there’s no documentation included. The negative pins are furthest from the board. If connected incorrectly, the LED just “blips”, connected correctly, the LED stays on. Bound to my very old Dx6i with no problem.

  • Doesn't work
There are no instructions at all. Bind is Channel one and if this is standard then steering is channel 2 and throttle is channel 3. But it doesn't matter because even though it blinks as though it bind to my controller it never actually works. Waste of money.

  • Connected properly they worked.
I bought two of them and once I figured out the proper connection they did bind and they stayed that way. I connected three servos ,an ESC and motor and everything worked fine. Haven't flown them yet so I can't verify it's range but I trust it is fine for park flyer.

  • It does not come with any instructions.
The first one I purchased would not bind to my transmitter. The replacement arrived within a few days and works as expected. The bind process was the same as the Spectrum brand receivers that use the bind plug. Bench testing shows that it works as advertised. I have not had a chance to fly it yet.

  • this will not go into bind mode. Doesn't bind to Spectrum DX7 or DX8 transmitters.
This is complete junk, do not buy. I checked out the supposed "bind instructions" posted on here by another user. 1st off, the picture shows the negative pin closest to the board. It will not light up when powered that way. I found that it lights up when the battery negative is plugged farthest from the board. When done this way the light comes on but does not flash. I tried it with the binding plug in the far left position just like the picture and it never flashes. Am I wrong? I will not bind to either one of my transmitters. EDIT- I tried it again, following the instruction and this time it worked. I still have not tried it in flight but it does work on the bench. ... show more

  • Great rx.. great price!
Works well for light build planes. Perfect for spektrum. Easy to bind.

  • Works great
Bound to my Spektrum NX6 transmitter no problem. Using it in a home built Great Planes airplane. As others mentioned there was no documentation but just followed the instructions that other reviewers have posted. I will buy it again in my next plane.
