I am not a bucket expert, but this one seems high quality to me. I have only used it to hold about 2 gallons of hot soapy water for moping the floor. So far no problems. Also its made in America which is rare and kind of cool.

    • Replaced metal handle with cheaper flimsy plastic handle.
The Libyan buckets are in my opinion the best buckets. However the new ones have one difference from the old one we had been using. The handle is plastic instead of metal. I had broken the old Libyan bucket in trying to carry a large quantity of rock salt. It had gotten melted together and I tried to break it up by dropping it. About the 4th time I did it I broke it. I’m glad I saved the metal handle. I took the plastic handle off the new bucket and put the old metal handle on and it fit just fine. I took one star off because of the plastic handle. ... show more

    • Not what I expected
The bucket is fine for lighter weight tasks, but I am used to sturdier buckets from years gone by that have metal rod handles with plastic comfort sections for carrying. The libman gator mop previously purchased does not fit this libman bucket. Had to get a larger bucket to accommodate my mop.
