First of all the presentation of this perfume is amazing. Except for the generic sticker on the top (which I took off, although it did peel away a little bit of the green packaging) it definitely looks like a high end product. I do find it strange however that it's marketed for both men and women, especially when it smells more like a cologne. It's definitely not for me since I prefer a flowery scent. I'm honestly not sure what it does smell like, I just know it doesn't smell at all girly. I also don't think the smell is not strong or long-lasting since I sprayed it a couple of times on my wrist and within a half hour I could hardly detect it even after I put it under my nose. Overall it's okay and is reasonably priced (currently $44.99) for the size of the bottle. Unfortunately I just didn't love it and doubt I'd order it again.

I have been looking for a new cologne to wear that would give me the right combo of woody and spicy that I like. As a result, I have sampled the fragrances of many different brands , but haven't found the one that gave me the right scent combo of top notes, middle (heart) notes, and base notes. While searching, I saw this Liberty Luxury Oud Foret Eau De Parfum, and decided to try it because of what I saw in the middle and base notes. Plus, I liked the 3.4 oz. sized bottle, and the price is excellent for an eau de parfum. Let me provide a brief explanation of what top, middle, and base notes are. The top notes are what you smell the moment that you spray a fragrance on, but they only last from 15-20 minutes tops, so I would never buy a cologne based on top notes alone. The middle (heart) notes then take over once the top notes start to dissipate, and are really important because they are main part of a fragrance. And even though they can start to wane within an hour, they can continue through the life of the fragrance. The base notes will start to be noticed anywhere from 30-60 minutes from the time the cologne is sprayed on, and they will be what you smell on your clothing and skin at the end of the day. With that being said, I have been using this Liberty Eau De Parfum for the past 5 days, and this is what I discovered. The fragrance has a life of around 7 hours, which is good. The top notes are intense, and have a floral scent to them, which I'm not a fan of. The middle and base notes made up for this though, because both gave me the woody and spicy scent that I like. My wife actually liked the floral scent of the top notes (Which is not a shock, since she really likes floral scents), but she also liked the middle and base notes as well. I also asked people at work to give me their impressions of the fragrance (Which was all middle and base notes at the time), and they all liked it. They described it as woody, spicy, and musk. So overall, except for the top note floral scent, this is a nice fragrance. For me, it would've been much better if the initial scent would've been citrus instead of floral. However, I can get past that, and will continue to wear it.

Liberty Luxury Oud Foret Anniversary Edition First thing I liked about this cologne was the presentation of it. It comes in a nice box, and the bottle itself is really nice too. The all black with gold details looks really good together and gives off that masculine vibe. The scent itself is listed as a unisex scent but presentation wise I feel it’s catering towards men. The scent does seem gender neutral leaning towards a little bit masculine. As the name says Foret which is French for forest this does have a little bit of an evergreen scent to it which was very clean and smelling and not what I was expecting but it’s really nice. Not like a Christmas candle but definitely smells great and fresh I’m not sure how they got it work but it really does. I really liked this scent I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a cologne with a clean scent, it lasts but isn’t overwhelming, a really great scent and would be a great gift for a man. Again this is for the Liberty Luxury Oud Foret Anniversary Edition since there’s lots of different scents available in this listing, I can say this one for sure is really great.
