  • I loved them - after I got the right size
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Stonewashed
I love these overalls.......but. Like some other people have mentioned you have to be careful what size you order. They are soft and comfortable. They have lots of big pockets. The shoulder straps adjust easily and stay in place. I wear a size 34-32 in most pants - and that's what I ordered first - and they were too tight. I should have known better but I haven't been a overalls wearer. Remember that pants fit around your waist - not your stomach - unless you're one of those that likes them hiked up under your armpits. But overalls will cover everything, including your belly. So, if your belly is at least a little larger than your waist - like 98% of all men over the age of 24 - then you need to order a size up, or two. The 34-32 pair I ordered fit great in the waist - a hair snug in the gut. So I sent them back and ordered a pair of 36-32. A hair loose in the waist but perfect in the gut so they are a keeper. Be honest with yourself when you order. We've all seen the guy that wears a 32 down around his hips and has a 42 belly hanging over. That won't work in overalls. Order these by your belly size, not your waist size. ... show more

  • Love these
Size: 64W x 32L Color: Stonewashed
I am really happy with the overalls. Quality is as good as any IMHO, although I am not a clothing expert. I am mainly writing the review as a big guy, for other big guys that wear overalls. I am 6'5" tall at 400 lbs. I measured around my gut to be sure to get a pair that doesn't "bind". I measured 65" at the gut, about 60 at the waist (be fair, I DID say I was a big guy right? ) So, went with the 66"X32" size. 1st off, that is a lot of denim for $40. I was expecting them to fit ok. But they are actually a bit loose, however that is before I washed them. I expect them to shrink a little. But hopefully not much because I like my overalls loose fitting for my active lifestyle (ok, ok, stop laughing now). I like the loose fit on my size. So, for you other big guys, just measure around your gut (not your waist) and buy the closest size to that measurement and you should be fine, and happy. ... show more

  • COMFORTABLE AS OLD PAJAMAS
Size: 48W x 30L Color: Stonewashed
These overalls are comfortable as a pair of pajamas--soft fabric and roomy fit (I'm 6'2" 250 pounds with 46" waist). The straps don't dig into the shoulders, and the waist doesn't constrict the middle. Buyers will want to pay attention to sizing recommendations--there will be shrinkage just like there was back in the day when we always bought denim with bigger waists and longer lengths to allow for the shrinkage. I bought these overalls 2" too big in the waist and 2" too long, and they washed up just right. These overalls are generously cut--the bib is a little floppy on the sides, the legs are wide, and the front pleat area is accommodating. I've worn them in public with a sweater and actually had compliments. Who'd of thought? ... show more

  • Denim holds up well but chintzy clasps.
Size: 42W x 30L Color: Stonewashed
They fit well and the material is pretty durable but the clasps are really chintzy. I bought 5 pair and almost all of them have broken mostly by simple range of motion like bending over or even just stretching. I have never had this problem with Dickies or even some cheaper brands. I will most likely not buy these again. ... show more

  • Go up in the waist size; down in the leg length
Size: 40W x 28L Color: Stonewashed
Bought these for my father who wears a 38x30 in jeans. Based on the reviews, I went up a size in the waist and down a size in the length (40x28) -- perfect! I swear they couldn't fit better if they had been custom made. He was very pleased with them and said they were very comfortable. The only thing he didn't like, and it was minor, was the bagginess in the legs due to the full cut, but that is to be expected with overalls. The legs are very full. Many pockets, hammer loops, etc. Nice! ... show more

  • Life is like some Liberty overalls. You never know WHAT you'll get...
Size: 58W x 30L Color: Stonewashed
My husband is a big man, and he loves Liberty overalls. They are the most comfortable thing he owns. I can only find his size online, and have ordered this same overall ten times from Amazon. Every time, I order the same width with a 30" inseam. Sometimes they're too short, and sometimes they're four inches too long. They come in differing stiffness and material thickness. One pair was 8" too wide, though the tag read the correct size. One pair will be made in China, and the next pair made in Russia. They are fine overalls, but you may have trouble with the sizing! ... show more

  • Second favorite brand
Size: 40W x 30L Color: Stonewashed
"Pointer" was always my favorite brand of overalls, but they have gone up in price to the point of being unreasonable. "Liberty" was always a close second as my favorite brand of overalls, and their price have remained reasonable. I wear a size 34 X 30 in regular jeans, so I ordered these in 36 X 30. The fit is a little loose but that is OK. It just makes them cooler in Summer with more air circulation and provides room for layering underneath in winter with thermals and sweats.. One of the things I like best about these overalls is the double large pockets on the bib (one zipper and one snap). Overalls in general are to my opinion the most comfortable work clothes available. ... show more

  • Comfortable but already wearing out.
Size: 40W x 32L Color: Stonewashed
These are super comfortable and incredibly useful. They are my standard workware for dirty house chores such as lawn work, home maintenance etc. Useful pockets. The shoulder straps constantly slipped and needed adjustment. I fixed that with a simple needle stitch to hold in place. (See pic). My main gripe is durability. I don't wear these constantly, just for intermittent work around the house. I have had them for about a year and half and the crotch is wearing out. (See pic) This seems premature to me for only a year and half ownership and fairly limited wear during that time. ... show more
