I go to the gym, run and walk my dogs daily. I normally wear leggings or lycra 5" shorts. But some days I don't want the hassle of choosing the right no show panties or wearing something tight. The issue I have with looser fit shorts is that I'm a small woman and shorts tend to be too big in the butt and legs. I took a chance on these shorts and I'm so glad I did. For reference, I am 5'3", 26" waist, 36" hips, 110 lbs with thinner thighs that are still muscular. I ordered the XS size and they fit perfectly. The waist is somewhat stretchy but it's a flat elastic with a drawstring inside. I like this waistband because it doesn't ride up and make me look like I have a belly. The elastic inside is flat and soft. The drawstring is flat and easily tied. The pockets have zippers and they do fit my Samsung Galaxy phone. It's nice to have gym shorts with secure pockets. The length is perfect. Not too short, not too long. That's important when you're a shorter person. The leg width is also perfect. They are tapered but not tight and also not baggy. I can wear these in public and still look nice and not look like I'm wearing work out gear. I love all the colors in the package. I happened to already have gym shirts that match the pink, blue and purple. The pink shorts are somewhat see through with darker colored panties. Lighter neutral colors do not show. The other colors are not see through. The fabric is very soft, lightweight, cool and comfortable. I have worn these lounging around the house, to the gym, to the grocery store/errands and they are very comfy. I highly recommend these shorts, especially for smaller ladies like myself. A good fitting short is hard to find! The size chart was right on point for the XS size. I wanted some shorts to wear to the gym that were comfortable (aka I wouldn't constantly feel like I was mooning someone). I am 5' 1", 140 lbs. with a stocky/muscular build. I went with size medium. These are super lightweight, but I got all darker colors, so not overly see-through. The length is really nice too; long enough to be modest and comfortable, but not basketball shorts. I ordered the assortment of pastels in a Small, my usual size, for running. They’re a perfect fit, and equally comfortable and attractive — what a value! They’re short, but not so short at the inseam that I have to be careful of what I’m showing the neighbors. The colors are vibrant, seemingly impossible for pastels, perhaps because of the soft, comfortable Heather-like texture of the fabric. I thought I’d just wear them for running, but they’re also suitable for running errands, too. The stretch band doesn’t result in fabric bunching below, which can be really unattractive and not at all figure-flattering. Rather, the cut is just right. These shorts are surprisingly good quality given the low price. I've used them for running and for classes at the gym, they are lightweight and comfortable. Purchased XXS for my 5'1" 90lb frame. These shorts fit slim through the hips & sit high on the waist. I love how soft the material is, the colors & especially the zippered pockets! Not something you usually find in women's pants/shorts. 10/10 recommend!

I bought these for swimwear as I amolder and want to cover my lower half better. I tried them on and they are wonderfully comfortable. There is the perfect amount of stretch. I normally wear a L but looking at teh size chart it stated for me XL so I went for those. And they are perfect, perfect fit, not too snug whichI really like. I can mover arouns in them easily. I am sure they will be perfect for swimwear. No they may not dry fast but I was not worried about that.
