I only write reviews for exceptionally good or exceptionally bad products. These shorts are so worth the money. I purchased one set of 5, wore them, washed them and checked all seams and pockets for any signs of defect. There were none. I am an older, overweight man. The additional height of the elastic waist is very comfortable. The fit is perfect and the overall comfort and usability is exceptional (hence, the title). The current pricing puts each pair at just over $7 each. What a find these are. The reviews are spot on. I was so impressed, I bought a second set of 5. What arrived was exactly the same quality as the first. As an older man, I purchased the solid colors only, but the ones with designs and stripes look really good. If I had any reservations for this product, it would be for the pockets. They are mesh, which may not be bad and could very well be better than standard fabric pockets. They are also a bit shallow, thinking about how large current phones are, but my phone never fell out while wearing the shorts. Even while sitting. Looks like this company has styles for women as well. I would recommend these for anyone that does not need "status branded" clothing as 5 pairs are about the same price as one pair of the named brand. If you search on Basketball Shorts for Men and sort the findings using the Average Customer Review filter, you will find these in the top 10 items. They deserve to be.

These aren’t high quality athletic shorts by any means, they’re 1 layer of fabric that isn’t the softest or most breathable. But they’re still very comfortable and an exceptional value. We got these mostly for “days off” and relaxing at home and not to be too worried if the cats snag the fabric on them. A little disappointed with the print patterns on these shorts, I worry that it’ll crack or seriously degrade with frequent wear and washing. I’m 5’5, we got the large size and they’re a bit long on me, just below the knee so I tend to wear mine up a bit higher. My husband is 5’9 and the large fits him well and falls just above the knee. There is an adjustment band inside these in case you prefer to size up. Very convenient to have more pairs of this style of shorts in our wardrobe.

I bought these for my husband to wear during physical therapy. They are extremely soft to the touch, have a nice amount of give when you move, and are long enough not t have to worry about showing anything while stretching. I’ve,washed them several times, no shrinkage, and they look like new out of the dryer. We’re happy!
