Got this because I live in an old house with an old-house closet: 7 feet long, 17 inches wide on the floor due to the baseboards, standard door right in the middle. Having things on hangers is really annoying because the hangers are very nearly the width of the closet itself, so pulling things out and putting them back is a pain. To get around this, I put up some shelves at the back of one side to put folded clothes on, but the shelves are only 11 inches deep, so I had a decent amount of empty space in front of them. I wanted a rolling set of drawers so that I could have more space for folded stuff but be able to easily move it out of the closet to get to the shelves behind it when I need to. In the first place, this is slightly too wide (but that's not the reason for the low rating). The measurements shown are accurate, however they don't account for how far the wheels/base of the feet stick out once they're on. With the wheels on, it was a bit over 17 inches. "No problem," I said, "I'll just turn it the other way and roll it sideways and then forward out of the closet. Problem solved." Except the problem was not solved because the included wheels are no good and the frame isn't strong enough to support them, so the thing kept collapsing every time I moved it. The wheels themselves are very basic locking caster wheels that are really fond of locking themselves with the slightest touch. I got around that by jamming the latch with a little piece of foam so that it couldn't go far down enough to lock. Great. Next problem: the wheels screw into plastic stems which are inserted into the legs of the frame, and not very securely. They're basically held in there with tension and a half-hearted prayer. I didn't have anything heavy in the drawers, just some lightweight t-shirts shirts and leggings, and I was rolling the thing between hardwood (main floor) and very flat commercial carpet (closet). The friction of that carpet was apparently just enough that literally every time I rolled the thing a few inches (and I mean 'literally' literally, not 'figuratively' literally), the wheels would catch, and then *with the stems attached* would pop out of the frame. The first few times, I just pushed the stems back in, but I noticed that every time I did that, the wheels came out even quicker the next time. I finally flipped it over to see what was going on... the frame is so thin and weak that just the little bit of force needed to make the wheels roll caused the stems to push the legs outward a little, which made them even less capable of keeping the stems in place. It took 3 or 4 times of me forcing the bent parts back into shape and popping the wheels back in again to realize that it was a complete waste of time and I could just get a different product that wouldn't have these issues, which I did. The pictures included are the bent frame (all the legs looked like that, some more bent than others) and the wheels with the stems I mentioned still attached. There are some good things about this product...I guess. It was pretty easy to assemble (and disassemble), held a decent amount of stuff, color was nice, and it seemed pretty sturdy (without the wheels on, at least). So I probably would actually recommend it if you plan to keep it in one spot and I guess just lift it if you ever need to move it, but since it is advertised as a rolling object and does not stand up to being rolled, I can't really give it a good rating. ... show more
