the overall cloak is very nice, the material is comfortable and i got what i paid for. however, i bought a white one to dye to try and get a bright red, cause the only other one available was more of a wine. i have used two full rit synthetic dye bottles, and its nothing more than a salmon/light red colour rather than a scarlet that i was looking for. this may still work, as im only using this as a prop for a cosplay skit, but if youre looking to dye this: use caution!! ... show more

My pre-teen son bought this with his own money for his Halloween costume. Two months later he still wears it several times a week for play. It is fraying just a bit at the hem where it brushes the ground, but otherwise it’s held up through tree-climbing, rolling on the ground and numerous washings.

Order several sizes larger than normal. These are really undersized. I ordered an extra large and it does NOT come close to being correctly sized. MUCH Smaller than advertised. Marked "ADULT" but are Child sizes. I'm 6.0 ft, 185 lb. and the XL doesn't come close to closing in the front and is about 8 inches shorter than my height. ... show more
