  • Immersive OLED Powerhouse for Serious Gamers
Size: 45 inch Color: Black Set: Tilt/Height/Swivel
I’ve been using the LG UltraGear 45GS95QE for a few weeks now and honestly, it raises the bar for immersive gaming. The 45″ curved OLED screen wraps around your field of vision thanks to its aggressive 800R curve, so once you’re in a fast-paced shooter or an open-world RPG, it genuinely feels like you’re inside the action. The 3440 × 1440 resolution means you get tons of screen space, but text and interface elements aren’t as crisp as on a 4K screen. Still, in games and movies the contrast blows everything else out of the water—those true black OLEDs and infinite contrast ratio make dark scenes pop in a way LCDs just can’t match. Brightness peaks around 275 nits, which is decent for home setups, though you might struggle in sunlit rooms. Performance-wise, this thing is lightning fast. The 240 Hz refresh rate combined with a near-instantaneous 0.03 ms pixel response time practically eliminates motion blur, and with both NVIDIA G‑Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, I’ve had zero stutter or tearing. It’s ultra-smooth, especially in competitive titles. The HDR400 True Black certification adds another layer—it feels cinematic, vibrant, and punchy in both SDR and HDR content. The build quality is what you’d expect from LG’s premium UltraGear lineup: built-in height/tilt/swivel stand means I get the perfect view angle every time, and the rear cable management keeps my desk clean. It’s not a fancy bendable screen like some Corsair ultras, but the fixed 800R curve really does feel more enveloping than most flat ultrawides. There are a few caveats. If your work involves spreadsheets, PDF editing, or dense text it’s not ideal—pixel density is around 84 PPI, so small text can seem slightly soft. OLED also means risk of burn-in if you leave static content onscreen for hours. LG includes mitigation tools, but it’s something to watch for. And yes, at a street price of around $1,700 it’s definitely an investment—but between the premium gaming performance, cinematic visuals, and slick design, it’s worth it if you want one screen that does it all. To sum up, the LG 45GS95QE is a specialist’s dream—serious gamers and immersive movie lovers alike will appreciate what it delivers. If you're okay compromising a bit on text clarity and are cautious about burn-in, it's one of the smoothest, most visually impressive ultrawides you can buy. ... show more

  • Best manufacturer warranty customer experience in years.
Size: 45 inch Color: Black Set: Tilt/Height/Swivel
This monitor has been brilliant. The build quality, reliability, and support have all been excellent. We had a technical issue where the monitor went out completely while on the manufacturer's warranty (past the Amazon return time) - and the LG support team was attentive and responsive. Within 3 weeks we got the monitor back with repairs made and it's working great again with perfect blacks. The online LG support team - is the best I have ever interacted with and makes me want to buy a lot more of their products! Many people will leave reviews saying bad things - but all products have issues, when the manufacturer treats you right and honors their warranty -> it's worth sharing and giving them a tip of the hat! ... show more

  • Amazing OLED monitor for the price.
Size: 27 inch Color: Black Set: Tilt/Height/Pivot
Amazing monitor, amazing visuals, good refresh rate, the response time is awesome, the quality of the images is great, the only thing is after a couple of hours of gaming it will tell you to do an image cleaning but that’s normal in OLED monitors. Thank you wife ;)

  • In my own opinion...
Size: 39 inch Color: Black Set: Tilt/Height/Swivel
TLDR; I'm giving this 4 stars due to the feature set, the sizing of the display, and the presentation of it. But if you are looking for something that will double as a work/productivity monitor, I have to say look else where. The resolution on this display is so lacking in sharpness it might as well be the 45 inch version. If you like this screen, you like it and I hope you continue doing so, especially if this is almost strictly for games, which for what these specs are, I'd say that's a high chance. With that said, I had purchased the 45 inch version of this screen back in September from a brick and mortar store and returned it a couple days after due to the ridiculous text fringing and something about the screen kept giving me a headache, i still don't really see why but I'm going to guess it had something to do with a 1440p resolution on a much larger display than that resolution is meant for, but I digress. I was so sure that the 39 inch version would correct this but I had practically the same experience, minus the headaches. Going from the first AW3423DW, to the G93SC, to this, seemed like such a downgrade honestly and I truly wanted this to be good. The slight matte finish also doesn't do this screen any favors either. In games, sure it looks good and all, but could we not get a lower end version of that 5k/2k screen but the 5k is 120hz or something? I can only imagine that would've made things sharper when I have normal work to do. It just seems like a lot of the reviews, including the professionals are inhaling some sort of copium to justify this display, especially at the MSRP. Again, if you like it, great, but I just can't look at this without feeling regret, same as the 45 inch version. Even on sale, I can't recommending this. Otherwise, like I said, in game it looks pretty good and aside from a stuck pixel when there's yellow on the screen, it looked flawless, well packaged, and had a nice feature set. The color adjustments with the individual saturation and hues is genuinely nice and not something I had on the my other displays. ... show more
