  • Great Monitor, Just a Bit Too Wide Great Monitor, Just a Bit Too Wide
Style: 200Hz
I used the LG UltraGear 45-inch curved monitor for a while, and overall it was an excellent display, just a bit too wide for my personal preferences. Technically, it’s a monster in the best way. The 32:9 Dual QHD resolution (5120 x 1440) gives you an enormous horizontal workspace that feels like having two 27-inch 1440p monitors side-by-side, but without the bezel in the middle. For gaming, the 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms response make motion feel extremely smooth and responsive, especially in fast-paced games. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which helped keep gameplay looking clean with fewer screen tears and less stutter when frame rates fluctuated. HDR is another strong point. With VESA DisplayHDR 600, highlights have more punch than basic HDR monitors and games/movies can look more dynamic when HDR is used well. Connectivity is also great for a modern setup, it has two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort, and a built-in USB hub, multiple USB ports, made it easy to hook up a PC and accessories cleanly. The stand is a plus too, height, tilt, and swivel adjustments make it easier to dial in comfort despite the size. My only real downside is that the 45-inch 32:9 format is extremely wide, and for my desk and day-to-day use it felt a bit overwhelming. It’s amazing for immersion, multitasking, and sim-style games, but I personally prefer something less wide. If you want a high-end ultrawide experience and you have the space to take advantage of it, this monitor is honestly great, just make sure you actually want the super ultrawide 32:9 lifestyle before committing. I gifted it to my Aunt and she absolutely loves it for work! ... show more

  • Best monitor I've owned so far!
Style: 200Hz
I love having this much real estate for my desktop. I went from 2x 27" 1080p monitors to this and it's a definite step up. Colors are great. I like that it has a USB hub built in so I can connect my mouse & keyboard and have less cables to manage going into my KVM. The button has a bit of a delay when you press it, I sometimes find myself having to push it 2-3 times before the command registers on the monitor. Otherwise, gaming has been awesome. I most play shooters and flight sims and this monitor can do up to 200Hz so action is nice and smooth. LG has always put out quality screens and this one is no exception. ... show more

  • Lightweight, beautiful curved monitor
Style: 200Hz
This monitor was a lot lighter than expected. It was very easy to assemble as well. It supports "Picture By Picture" so you can have two or more video inputs going in to this monitor and then display them side-by-side. The response time is great and I haven't noticed any ghosting. One thing I will note: I did have to update my motherboard BIOS for this monitor to work. It doesn't make sense to me, but if I booted up my PC with this thing plugged in, not a single display would work. If I shut down, unplugged this monitor, then booted back up it would be fine. I didn't even see my BIOS POST screen when this happened so I figured it was something to do with my motherboard and not Windows. After a BIOS update my computer works fine with the monitor. For reference, my motherboard is the X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI. Hopefully this review helps someone with the same issue. ... show more

  • Worked OK for 6 months
Style: 200Hz
First off, its way to short. Not the stand but the screen area itself. The actual screen is as tall as a 17 or maybe 24" monitor. Coming from 3x 27" its very unsatisfying. While I only lost 640px width wise from triples and gained 360 vertically, I lost 2" of vertical screen space. I have dealt with the 49" Samsungs before and they are much much better than this thing. *** EDIT: I previously posted the monitor doesn't connect to PC on boot or reboot but this turned out to be a video card issue. I though my 3080Ti had all the latest BIOS updates as I have had it connected to 9 other DisplayPort monitors and never had issues but for some reason, it just didn't like this monitor. I ran the DisplayPort firmware update available on nVidias website and haven't had any issues since. The color is good, and I havent noticed any ghosting yet but I do have other VA panels so maybe I am used to it. Overall a good monitor but while 45" sounds big, its pretty small due to the aspect ratio so do your research on 45" monitors as there are 2 types of screen layout. ** ***6 month update*** The LED backlighting on the far right side now flickers randomly and the whole monitor goes completely black at random times while gaming. It will start, then happen 20-25 times over the next 30 minutes, then will work OK for another 30-40 minutes and start it up again. I have new HDMI cables and none of the other monitors I have swapped into this station do it, Gigabyte 27" 165Hz, Acer 35" 144Hz and an LG Ultragears 27". SO disappointed, when I had to send in my Acer 35" for warranty shipping was almost $350, I cant imagine how much this POS would cost to ship in for warranty. I could likely buy another monitor for that price. I have 4 LG TVs, LG Refrig, Every phone since the G3 and 2 other LG monitor and this was the worst product experience I have had with LG ... show more

  • Great bang for the buck
Style: 200Hz
I replaced 2 x 24 inch monitors that had only 60hz refresh rates. I use both for gaming and productivity. I know there are better monitors out there, but I wasn't prepared to spend over 1k on them. For the price, especially on sale gave it a "bang for the buck" factor I couldn't resist. I always look at the poor reviews - some people said they didn't like it for productivity. Not sure what they are talking about. Maybe going from flat to curve? But the curve here is not huge, and plenty of space for multiple open windows, especially using virtual desktops. Some people complained not good for gaming - not sure what they are talking about either. High refresh rate and gaming with games like CyberPunk 2077 makes this monitor extremely immersive. I tried non-3d games as well, and it the extra real estate takes some getting used to, but doesn't diminish the experience. Knowing there were more pixels to push, I did upgrade to a Radeon 7800XL, also on sale at a great price. I'm able to play smoothly with Ultra settings with no problem. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Yes there are better monitors out there, ones with "taller" profiles some people complained about. But they cost over $500+ more minimum! I haven't seen anything like this for the price. ... show more

  • Perfect for my Gaming Setup!
Style: 200Hz
If you’re debating between having two monitors and one big monitor, this is definitely your sign just to pick the big one. The picture quality as well as the ease of use by just having one monitor with one mount has been the best decision I’ve made for my home set up. I could easily have three tabs open or even more if I decide to do so. It gives me the perfect balance between productivity, as well as the experience, gaming. Some games do not fit the full screens, but the ones that do look amazing would highly recommend! ... show more

  • WARNING! This product came packaged with scam registration forms
Style: 200Hz
Ok, so quick disclaimer that the physical monitor has performed as advertised. That said, we finally got around to registering the product and discovered it came packaged with a scam registration card that has me questioning the legitimacy of the product. My wife tried to register online, and it sent her to a site with 'prodregister' in the URL. It came up with a black screen and immediately asked to confirm she wasn't a robot. When she did that, it asked her to allow pop ups on the browser. She did, but then it just kept looping back to the robot question. I tried on my computer, but then her computer started flooding with endless popups for McAffee, and said that her computer was at risk. Soon after, mine started doing the same. Deleting our browser data has so far stopped the flood of popups and browser tabs from opening, but it is deeply concerning how this fake registration card ended up packaged with the monitor. I'm concerned about whether the product we purchased was legitimate, and I would warn anyone off of purchasing this monitor for the time being. ... show more

  • In a word... AWESOME!
Style: 200Hz
I bought this monitor to replace a 24" that I moved to a different location and I wanted access to a wider screen to compare functionality. First thing, I connected this to my apple mini via an HDMI cable and although it worked, the aspect ratio was no where near what I wanted and needed it to me. So, I checked the instructions and realized that it was a totally different cable that I needed. Once I purchased the correct cable, BAM, game changer. The ratio increased big time! It went from 1920 x 1080 via HDMI to a whopping 5120 x 1440 with the correct cable. if you are going to get a large screen like this, I suggest that one read the instructions completely FIRST! Great value for the money that I paid and I would DEFINITELY purchased another one, if the need arose! and it just might! it is a gorgeous screen with a whole lot of screen space. I have it hooked up to some Bose desktop speakers, don't use the screen speakers at all. The clarity is great when watching a youtube video, watching a movie or editing some personal videos of my own with different software. ... show more
