  • Great Monitor for work
Style: 200Hz
I was struggling at work with 2 older 22 inch monitors. I purchased this monitor and I am blown away. It fits well on my desk with the one exception that I keep it so close to me that I smack my fingers on the bottom of it when I raise my hands. I really love that this thing is so wide. You can use windows left / right key to dock screens to the left or right and it feels like two monitors. I do not play games on this so I did not spend the $$$$$ to get an OLED and it is beautiful. ... show more

  • In a word... AWESOME!
Style: 200Hz
I bought this monitor to replace a 24" that I moved to a different location and I wanted access to a wider screen to compare functionality. First thing, I connected this to my apple mini via an HDMI cable and although it worked, the aspect ratio was no where near what I wanted and needed it to me. So, I checked the instructions and realized that it was a totally different cable that I needed. Once I purchased the correct cable, BAM, game changer. The ratio increased big time! It went from 1920 x 1080 via HDMI to a whopping 5120 x 1440 with the correct cable. if you are going to get a large screen like this, I suggest that one read the instructions completely FIRST! Great value for the money that I paid and I would DEFINITELY purchased another one, if the need arose! and it just might! it is a gorgeous screen with a whole lot of screen space. I have it hooked up to some Bose desktop speakers, don't use the screen speakers at all. The clarity is great when watching a youtube video, watching a movie or editing some personal videos of my own with different software. ... show more

  • Wide and useful.
Style: 200Hz
Its a decent monitor and has good specs. I like everything about it except for the backlighting artifacts on black backgrounds. Its black contrast is lacking and the ghosting edge lighting on dark rendering is disappointing. Mostly an issue in watching shows or dark gaming, not an issue in desktop or daily work. Good monitor to replace a two monitor setup IF its on sale. ... show more

  • Just what I wanted
Style: 200Hz
Disclaimer: I'm down to one far from perfect eye, so my review will intentionally avoid matters of image quality, as I'm hardly qualified to judge I've had this monitor for two weeks now. I needed more screen real estate than my 27" flat could provide, so I gave this a shot. I realized once it arrived that it was almost exactly the size of two 27" monitors side by side, for some perspective. The included stand is very sturdy. It's heavy, has a broad base, and an adjustable VESA standard mount, and I quickly replaced it with an arm mount because it simply took too much of my limited desk space (yes, I have more monitor space than desk space). But it's not a bad stand if you don't mind its legs sprawling across the desk. Brightness is good, although I haven't had to have this in anything like direct sunlight. Unlike my last monitor, an Acer which didn't want to display anything until the computer had been sending a video signal for a minute or two. this doesn't fail to work because of power saving features and just turns on. I have no complaints with the picture, not that I'm difficult to please there. I'm thinking about buying a second one for a ton of screen space, which is about the highest recommendation I can give to something I've owned for two weeks. Something for PC gamers to remember: if you're playing games in the max screen resolution, it's pretty taxing on the hardware. With the same graphics settings on Cyberpunk, going from the 27" monitor on 1440p to 5120 x 1440 on this dropped my FPS from about 170 to 70 ... show more

  • Great improvement over dual monitors
Style: 200Hz
I recently replaced my dual monitor setup with the LG 45GR665DC-B and thus far, I've been very happy with the decision. I do not use the monitor for gaming so I cannot comments on these specs, but for work with Windows 11 it's been great (text clarity is great, spreadsheets amazing, etc.). As other reviewers may have commented the base for this screen is large (makes sense with an ultrawide monitor). It takes up a lot of desk space at around 13 inches in depth and 23 inches in width. The mount on the back of the monitor is...different. Very efficient with the provided stand (no screws, etc.) as it just kind of pops in...but still massive on the desk. The specs indicate that a 100x100 mount will work for this...but I haven't seen a wall mount / arm that does not connect via screws so...I'm not sure what to do from here as I do want to get it off the desk. If anyone finds a good mount / arm for this monitor - please share! ... show more

  • This is NOT the monitor you're looking for...
Style: 200Hz
The form factor is the first problem with this monitor. It's FAR too wide for how short it is. You get about 12" of usable height in the panel, that's smaller than the height of a 27" 16:9 monitor. You don't realize it until you use it how small this thing actually is. The LG software is junk, will let you create "snaps" in windows so it can remember where you like stuff but doesn't really give you proper options (like having a 16:9 window dead center rather than to the left or right). Mine flickered and my windows jumped around on their own, not sure if this was a bad monitor or bad software but either way it went right back in the box to be returned. Don't be foolish like me and ignore the "frequently returned" flag this monitor has on it here, there is a reason so many people return these. ... show more

  • Great Monitor
Style: 200Hz
This is a great monitor, replaced a television with this and the curved along with the size is awesome. I had a 55' Television prior to this that was mounted on the wall, but this monitor handles all the windows but does it in a more comfortable fashion.
