This LG 34" ultrawide monitor will likely check all the boxes you'll ever need in a productivity monitor, but also likely a gaming monitor as well if you want an affordable do it all monitor. At 1440p 21:9 aspect ratio, you get a large and clear image. The monitor had no defects, and felt really sturdy, no creaks or cracks when moving, and no excess wobble from the stand. The picture itself looked great for an LCD, and got very bright as well and quite dim depending on the settings. It has multiple HDMI ports, displayport, and even a usb-c displayport alt with power delivery which is awesome at this price. What that means is if you have a compatible laptop like a macbook, you can run 1 single usb-c cable to this monitor and it will charge and display at the same time, making it super easy to transition from laptop to desktop mode. This monitor goes up to 144hz, however it seems that is only over displayport or usb-c, so if you need HDMI, I could only get that to run at 100hz. Freesync worked great over every port tested, and I really have no qualms with this monitor, especially at the price tag. Is it OLED? no, but its also 1/3 the price of a comparable OLED monitor and still has great image quality. ... show more
