  • Great Monitor if You Get it For the Discounted Price
This monitor is great for the average user, below is a list of pros and cons PROS 1. Monitor serves as a great entry-level ultra-wide. 2. Has support for HDR. 3. Has an average osd navigation system. 4. Fantastic for 1080p gaming. 5. when multi-tasking the extended aspect ratio is a much-appreciated feature. CON'S 1. HDR doesn't work well on EXEL. 2. If you want the best possible gaming experience, you might want a higher-resolution monitor. 3. The stand on this monitor has terrible stability and is not height adjustable. 4. Straight out of the box, the monitor's color seems to lack color and vibrancy. 5. While not having experienced this myself, other reviewers have reported random shutdowns of the monitor. I hope this helped you decide whether this monitor is for you. ... show more

  • Unbeatable for the price!
I just set up my monitor, and let me just say that I am in love! I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised once I set it up. Although the picture quality and colors might not be as great as my M1 Macbook Pro, it is still a superb screen. I got this screen to boost my productivity when I study or am creating content/editing YouTube videos, and so far, I am happy as can be. I'll keep using it for a few weeks and if anything changes, I'll update my review. You will need some tweaking on your end to get the colors and image right, but my Macbook had more than enough settings to help give the screen some life. So far, I am very satisfied with my purchase! ... show more

  • Gorgeous, great value for money, stand kinda sucks
I love capitalism. You can get a 29" widescreen monitor for under 200 bucks, shipped. Quality is fantastic - both for graphic design (colors very accurate), and gaming (rock-solid visuals with great HDR). Literally the ONLY thing I'd like to complain about is the fact that the stand is NOT adjustable. At all. I ended up putting a couple of shims under the ends so it tilts back, but seriously, could have added a basic tilt at least... Still, a stunning monitor for an amazing price, 5/5 experience. ... show more

  • Perfect for data analyst
I love this monitor for coding and data analysis. I wanted a monitor where I could have two Jupyter Notebook tabs open side by side without feeling cramped and this does the job perfectly. If you intend to use it for work and/or school I highly recommend it especially for the price. I don't know if I would recommend this monitor for gaming because it is very wide but not very tall, so a lot of games would probably not fit well. ... show more

  • Great value!
Great for multi-window situations. Working with browser and IDE works great. Better to have all on one big screen than 2 separate monitors.

  • Great for work, but not the best resolution
If you’re using this solely for work purposes, like spreadsheets and presentations and having 3 different screens pulled up at all times - this is going to be a great option for you. It’s very wide and allows me to see so much at once. However, the picture quality is not great, but unless you’re using it for editing or videos or video games, it will do the trick. ... show more

  • Works On M1 Mac Using USB-C Port
When I first bought this I did not see any reviews and was not sure if the USB-C port using DP Alt Mode would work on an M1 Mac Mini. As this specific Mac can connect with two displays but one has to be on the USB-C port and the other has to use HDMI. Since I read online others saying DP Alt Mode does not work for Macs and some monitors just straight up do not work with M1 Macs but this works perfectly with my Mac Mini using the USB-C port on the back of it. You can even drive it at 75 Hz too but you need to change it from the default to scaled then choose the correct resolution and refresh rate. I also have a gaming PC but I'm not a competitive gamer at all but it works perfectly fine playing games in Ultra Wide and 75 Hz using FreeSync. Keep in mind that FreeSync is not enabled by default and needs to be turned on. I have an Nvidia card but it still supports the FreeSync feature of the monitor. Just like the Mac in Windows 10 you need to manually change the default display settings to force it to 75 Hz. You also need to change the default response time to Faster. It can go down to 1ms but that option disables FreeSync. Also this monitor is factory calibrated too which looks fine to my eyes but you can also do your own calibration. The only issue I have is that the monitor doesn't always change inputs automatically and you still need to use the joystick, below the monitor, to confirm the input change. Mine did not have any dead pixels and I cannot comment on the stand as I'm using a different one that can hold two monitors. There are no speakers which I'm fine with but it has a 3.5mm output on the back. ... show more
