I work from home and bought this monitor as part of my office set up. It was easy to set up. The image is very sharp and clean. I use it with a Mac laptop that I keep in the clam shell position in a stand next to the monitor. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the way you have to access the menu. There is a button underneath in the center that you push that brings you to the menu. This is where you have to go to change the volume. I have heard other people say that the sound quality is tinny. I would agree that the sound quality isn’t the greatest, but it functions fine enough for me that I haven’t considered buying any kind of external speakers. The screen has enough space that you can easily have two documents open at the same time, side-by-side. If these ever go on sale, I would probably purchase a second one for an even larger desktop platform. To summarize I am very happy with this monitor. Yes, having a different option to adjust the volume would be nice. And yes, the sound is not going to compare to your Bose speaker but functions fine.

I've been using my LG monitor now for several months and have been very happy with the purchase. The screen image is bright and clear and stand up easily to the quality of my high end monitor. I also love the ability to rotate or raise the monitor. Such a nice feature. I don't like the white plastic backing. It feels cheap and not very sturdy, but it's not seen so not a real big deal. Also it tooks me a while to figure out how to use the setting knob at the bottom of the screen. I couldn't find any instructions that made sense, but I figured it out after awhile. But it's a great, reliable monitor and I've been very happy with this purchase.

At this price point, this is one of the best 4k 27" monitors on the market. The brightness and picture quality are solid. The refresh rate is fine for basic gaming and easy on the eyes. The sound is surprisingly good for a built-in. LG nailed it with the single 5-way button user interface: left & right for volume. Push for full menu. It's intuitive and you don't have to fish around finding the right button (there's only one!) I have three of these at the community space and they're solid dependable workhorses. The abundance of ports means I can have several systems hooked up to a monitor without a lot of fuss. Very pleased with these.

A solid 4K monitor for a decent price. I needed a 4K monitor I could rotate 90 degrees as my desk is on the smaller side and I wanted to really utilize the space. It had to be 4K--once you go 4K, it's hard to go back! I have the same monitor (same brand/line) in a 32" size that I bought from Costco a few years back, so this new monitor really fits into my current setup. The only downside is the huge stand - it really spans a lot of space. I appreciate this feature, since a large monitor needs to be properly supported, but I had to improvise by putting books down to support 1/3 of the stand, as you can see in the photos, since I wanted it specifically on the top shelf area of my desk. The only other thing to note (for those not super well-versed in tech): make sure you use the proper HDMI/other cable connection. The cable itself needs to be able to support 4K, or else this amazing monitor will show as super low-res.

Picture quality is so easy on the eyes. I've tried some other cheap 4K monitors, and they just don't stack up. This one can get pretty bright, has good contrast, and text looks really nice on it. No speakers, and I guess I didn't read that when I was buying it, but you'll need external speakers if you need sound. No big issue for me, I just use my laptop speakers for the most part.
