  • Working great as a second monitor
Style: Refresh rate - 144 hertz
My main monitor is a LG 32” 4K 144hz which I got for around $700 a few years back. I know OLED is the lates and greatest but I needed IPS for the viewing angles and because I leave my PC on 24/7 and game for hours. It’s worked flawlessly so when I wanted to pick up a second monitor I decided to keep it to the LG line and this one is like a baby brother of my main monitor, just at 1440p. Colors look great after adjustment, no dead pixels, no extreme IPS glow. The only con is the round back design LG likes to do with their UltraGear line. You won’t be able to add a monitor bar with it. Also, the original stand has very limited adjustments, but if you’re using a third-party arm like me it’s not an issue. One other thing to note; when you remove the OEM stand, there’s a little mounting piece that kind of just sticks out from the back. Other than that, this is a quality monitor. Admittedly I haven’t done hardcore gaming on this since I’m using it as a second monitor but the quick testing I did was great. Definitely recommend this especially if you can grab it at around $200. Great value. ... show more

  • Amazing Montor for Amazing Price
Style: Refresh rate - 144 hertz
I purchased this monitor because it looked like it had good specs, and I really needed an upgrade. As I used it, it was everything I expected and more. For the price, you can't beat the 2k gaming quality that it allows you to play at. The monitor feels really high quality, allows me to play at 144 herts, and is a massive upgrade especially if you are still on 60 herts. You can change many things like the color, brightness, and so much more like putting a cross hair on the screen. If you are looking for something similar to this monitor or even considering getting this one, definitly do it. ... show more

  • Excellent Gaming Monitor
Style: Refresh rate - 144 hertz
The HDR brightness is good for the money. The settings menu is simple to navigate and it was easy to setup. The colors are accurate and the refresh rate is just shy of 144Hz. Only complaint is that the stock monitor stand is garbage. The angle of it points the monitor downwards and has no adjustment. ... show more

  • Great Option if you can find it for a reasonable price.
Style: Refresh rate - 144 hertz
No it might not be the top of the line or the newest thing but it is certainly an excellent option for a monitor you can buy and basically forget about. I’ve had it for roughly 3 or 4 months so here’s a couple upsides and downsides. The pros are basically exactly what the monitor advertises. It’s pretty much a textbook ips monitor with vibrant colors, 144hz refresh, and 1ms delay. If you’ve been rocking 1080 and 60hz for awhile. Treat yourself, you will not go wrong with an upgrade like this and I promise you can most likely get over the downsides (as long as you find a decent price). However if your a gaming enthusiast or somebody downgrading there’s a couple things you certainly need to consider. The bad side. Backlight glow, yes this is an ips, your gonna notice it every now and then. All I can say is if you use nvidia control panel turn the brightness setting up and the contrast down, then turn the actual monitor brightness down as needed. You’ll lose some of the vibrancy with the colors but I find curbing some of the backlight glow to be more of a priority. That said I’m somebody that typically uses my computer in a dark room, sometimes with only my monitor on at night and I find the backlight to be manageable in that environment. You just might have to tweak your settings every now and then. The monitor is also quite hefty, if your planning on using a wall mount or some kind of system with height adjustment that doesn’t lock you may run into an issue with the weight of the monitor maxing out that stand. As for the stand that comes with the monitor, it does only have one adjustment but that personally hasn’t bothered me, there’s some comments suggesting buying a mount to replace it, I think it would be in your best interest to wait and see if that’s really a concern for you. The HDR function doesn’t really work as intended. Whatever, just turn it off That’s about it. You get what you pay for and in my opinion this is a good option at the price I paid which was $270 when I got it ... show more

  • Solid Monitor
Style: Refresh rate - 144 hertz
This monitor being available right now for <$200 is crazy. This would've been $500+ just a few years ago. I was using a dell 1440p 144Hz monitor for years and this monitor was significantly better. My previous monitor was $500-600 about 6 years ago. I have a 4080 and realized it was stupid to not have a high end monitor so I am now using this as a secondary monitor. I needed a 4k OLED for my main monitor. But I am still happy with this purchase. It still looks great, even next to my oled. ... show more
