i think i'm one of the lucky ones... no dead pixels upon arrival! this monitor looks amazing, and it's BIG. take my review with a grain of salt, though; i'm coming from a 2019 hp omen laptop. i think anything is an improvement over that lol. the colors are SO CLEAN and saturated, there is very little "glow" when displaying mostly black screens. it's heavy and it all feels super quality. i think my biggest gripe is there is a cable clip on the back, that i didn't REALIZE was a cable clip, and now i can't get it off, therefore no cables are clipped. bizarre. also, this is a nitpick because you can SEE photos in other reviews, but the product description claims this is glossy finish. it is most definitely matte, LOL. obviously. because it's not OLED. anyway, still really really nice!!! ... show more

What can I say other than this monitor is amazing. Not only does it looked great but it plays smooth. You can run triple A tittles with great response time and great FPS. Colors look amazing and the fact that it's pretty much plug and play it really makes this monitor well rounded. A must buy if you're serious about competitive play with great mid tier Monitor which to me feels premium if you ask me. Definitely an A+ in my book. ... show more

I have no complaints with this monitor, the multiple functions and configurations make it perfect for gaming use. Believe me, I looked for so many options, compared it with other brands and finally decided to try it.. It's worth what it costs, you will have an A1 experience if you play at 2k even at 1080p since I tried it in several ways.. believe me, if you are like me looking for options in monitors, stay with this one... Purchased two of these monitors. Can't go wrong with the price to performance. All the bells and whistles one would need for the more than casual gamer. I don't do much with HDR so it being only HDR 400 doesn't affect me. It's got great brightness and good blacks. the performance at 240Hz is a nice have with all the other features. I gave this 5 stars cause it is a great pick up for the price. I was looking at OLEDs, but the features of those never hit all the categories I wanted and that technology seems to be a little too new for the gaming scene if you want ease of use and maintenance. There is one Con for me though. The power adapter is crazy short. This is just the switching adapter and it's only a 5 foot cord. Not a deal breaker by any means but if you are using setups with control arms or stacking monitors, you will need to figure out some extensions for this. Monitor looked nice when I set it up. Turned it on and I see 2-3 dead pixels. Brand new and it came defective with dead pixels. Very disappointed because I got this when it was on sale for $350. Had to return it and Amazon couldn't replace it with another one. Return process took extra long and I did not get my refund until 3 weeks later.     • Just posting this review to help people who have audio issues (like me)
I haven't had any major issues with this monitor except one: When trying to connect a console to this monitor through hdmi and then output audio with a 3.5mm cable to speakers, I needed to change the input compatibility setting from 2.1 (PC) to 2.1 (AV). I haven't tried with headphones yet, but I'm sure it will require the same settings changed. If you bought this monitor and are trying a similar setup and have audio issues, your headphone jack is probably fine, you just need to go into settings -> general -> input compatibility version. As for the monitor itself, it looks nice, no dead pixels. Local dimming/mini led would have been nice, but at this price I would probably rather have HDMI 2.1 and 240hz support. ... show more
