Taking the price into consideration this is a pretty good bookshelf to buy. Package comes in a fairly compact box and took me about 20 mins for assembly. The main panels are not wood, but have what looks to be a durable wood like vinyl finish. The feet are lightweight molded plastic. Hardware included pretty comprehensive, even includes a basic screwdriver for those that don't have one. When assembled, the bookcase is pretty lightweight and fairly stable side to side. Front to back it does pose a risk of tipping - I recommend some sort of wall anchor if you have kids or if it's going be in an area where it gets bumped. The plastic feet do not have any sort of rubber grip or felt under, and are non adjustable for leveling. May need to use a shim for stability. Do not overtighten the screws for the feet as you'll strip the mounting holes. If I had to point out a weak spot, it would be the feet. Careful with any sort of pressure or force on them other than from top to bottom when moving the unit. Again do not overtighten the screws. The screws that hold the 'wood' panels together are a good length, however they do protrude a tiny bit when tightened down. I did not try to tighten them further to get them flush for fear of stripping them or damaging the panel. It's only a tiny bit but it's there. Once loaded with books and some items, it does gain stability due to the additional weight - be mindful of weight distribution if unanchored, top-heavy will make it more tip prone. It's a handsome piece and for the price a good value. Furniture in general has gotten very expensive. It's not a piece you'll have for decades, but it'll hold up to daily use and some abuse.

I bought two of the 7-drawer bookcases to have side by side as a bookcase/TV stand combo and they look great! The picture doesn't do the coloring of the material justice; it's a rich brown that mimics natural wood really well. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and was braced for shoddier work; for both bookcases, everything was drilled all the way through, everything lined up, there were no noticeable flaws on any pieces, all parts were there. They even included a bonus screwdriver if you needed one. I highly recommend using an electric screwdriver with multiple heads - you need an Allen wrench and Phillip's heads for this, but assembly was very straightforward and took less than an hour. Note: I still have some of the part stickers on in the photo; don't worry, those aren't holes or anything. I'll update this review if any quality issues arise but as of right now I'm very impressed and felt compelled to write this review!

The LEYAOYAO cube bookshelf was fairly easy to put together. I would rate the instructions 8/10 for ease of comprehension. Put it this way, I did not have to take anything apart because a piece was positioned wrong—it was close but worked out. A good approach for DIY units like this is to lay out all the parts and review the step-by-step instructions entirely before beginning assembly. If I had any disappointment it was the plastic legs: probably utilized here to keep cost(s) down. All in all, the unit looks good and serve the purpose for which I bought it.

It’s a great cute little shelf, but I’m giving it a 3 bc the back panels are a pain to try to figure out how to make them stay without sliding off from the bottom. Also the tiny screws used for the legs are cheaply made I broke 4 of them in the process of tightening them, and I was trying to be as gentle as possible.

I absolutely love this little bookcase! I have a small space in my bedroom that I placed it. It took me about an hour to put together. All the pieces and directions were safely packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The retro brown color looks fantastic with our bedroom furniture and I have just enough books to place in each cubby for a neat, clean look. It is a sturdy piece and will serve its purpose well! The height is perfect for where it is placed. The price seems reasonable!
