I bought a luxurious goose down comforter over 25yrs ago at Robinsons dept. store for over $400 which I loved.Lasted many year's until it was ruined during a move. I searched for a similar one over the years and this one exceeds my expectations. First of all, there was NO odor emanating from the packaging. Second the comforter arrived within 3 days of my order, very well boxed and in its' own "bag". Third, the comforter spread out nicely on my bed, and after following instructions to pat (not beat) each of the stitched "boxes" on the entire comforter a couple of times, the comforter fluffed up nicely. Just to let you know, I have a large dryer, but this comforter will NOT fit in it, and I am glad not to have tried. I think that there could be a problem if you try that method. Fourth, after two nights of sleeping, I felt toasty warm, had lots of room to toss and turn (as we all do sometimes). Sleeping in the buff is like being in dreamland under the cotton flannel sheet and this comforter... Fifth, the price was right. I would buy another if I needed. This is a great investment. I will be using the older one on my single bed in the guest room. Sixth, I had the older one dry cleaned two years ago. I highly recommend that cleaning process, when possible. Make sure your top sheet covers and folds back over the edges closest to you face. That will keep your comforter looking like new for months and years to come. Enjoy!

I honestly love this thing. As i sat on my bedroom floor, wrapping myself up as it started to air out and fluff, I thought "why didnt i get this sooner?" It's impossible not to love it. It's soft and fluffy and seems to use real down feathers. Which unfortunately, is something I found out due to a massive hole/tear causing all the down feathers in one square to fly everywhere in my room as I shaked it out for the first time. :( Before anyone says anything, I did want to say I ordered a replacement because my first impression was so good. I was extremely careful with opening up the box and the inner package. And the company even put in an extra piece of cardboard to prevent any mishaps when cutting the tape. My only warning is that packing this thing up while waiting for a return is a hassle :( If it could come with a vacuum sealing bag, it would help so much! Not only with storing but with returns. If my replacement comes without any issues I'll probably update this review to 5 stars.

Ever since I’ve felt the lush down bedding of this cruise I’ve went on, I’ve wanted a down comforter. I finally made the “splurge” and bought one for myself. I’m happy with it. I washed it, let it fluff up in the dryer and let it rest for a while like other comments said for maximum fluff. Make sure it’s fully dry. The feathers didn’t clump up, perhaps also because of the fill mix and the quilt design. The down is certified and The 750 fill is just right as it’s not too full and not too light for me. It’s very fluffy and will puff right back up after laying on it. It will keep you warm when it’s cold. And I didn’t find it too dense like cotton and down alternative comforters I’ve tried. The stitching is superb. One of the reasons I chose this down with a cotton blend outer is that blends have increased durability for the prolonged longevity of my investment that I plan to use for years to come. I can’t think of any cons presently. In sum, life’s too short to stay stuck with mediocre bedding. And I am genuinely content with this comforter.
