Bought one to use in the smoking room of my place. Works great, removes most smoke odor and most airborne particulate in the room. Noticeably observed in direct sunlight. It runs 24/7 and still runs quiet. I will occasionally burn an incense next to it, to effectively "season" the filter. It continues to scent the air while removing all the smoke. I bought one a few years back and just bought another one for my music studio. Keeps the dust down and the equipment clean. I know there are better ones but this one's not bad at all for the price. This thing works great. I put it on a strict 8hr purification process just to get anything out of my house! My house does have a specific smell to it and it doesn't stink just apparent. This thing eliminates it for the most part and leaves lead way for my room spray to take over! I feel like i feel the difference when breathing well. its not super loud as the sleep mode works great! However it can also be used as a white noise machine to put you to sleep! Worth the money and quality of life ... show more

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I love the night mode, which is super quiet and has the light dimmed. It doesn't filter as well as when the fan is on normal modes, but it is definitely helping with my nighttime congestion, which was the reason I made the purchase. It is attractive, and just the right size. I turn it on 6 hours before bed on medium, and my bedroom is odor-free and seems very clean by bedtime. I love the smallness of the purifier. I started it up in October 2023 and have not turned it off since. I live in a small apt that I share with my 70 pound dog, Charlotte. We share a small, yet very clean place. When I first plugged this in, I had put it in my bedroom. I did not like it back there as it did not seem to be in the right place to help us the best. I have my king bed in the living room due to many surgeries and disabilities. So, I placed it up off the floor, on a stand, and noticed immediately that the air seemed fresher. Now, with time, I do not seem to notice that fresh air like I had before. I wonder why. I still have 45% on the filter and I have taken it out of the machine and used a nice, soft brush and removed “tons” of dust off of the transparent protective cover over the folded Louvers. When I look inside? Those are pretty darn packed with dust. The replacement filter is easy to clean the outside film and costs $30 to replace. So, I burn a lot of candles and you can see the color ring change when I light them up. The ring will turn orange or red. If things are going great, the ring will be bright green and always maintains a nice blue whenever things are all right. I did finally download the app. Via my iPhone and it gives me great information. Bluetooth. The filter will be super easy to change out. The machine is lightweight and easy to handle and seems to be ok standing on its head when you want to get to the filter. I do highly recommend that you brush that outside transparent sheath around the actual filter. It seems to help the machine to perform easier. It is quiet and emits a nice white noise for sleep. We live in a very small place and sometimes I do not know if it is doing its job, even when there is no cooking going on or candles burning. Yes, the colors change when challenged, but when we are laying around doing nothing or have been gone a few hours, I come home and the place does not smell like it has an air purifier working full time in here. This is a 550 sq foot apt. Surely, this is large enough to work here, right? Thank you. Debbie ... show more

I only just got this yesterday and used it last night for the first time but I feel compelled to write a quick review already. This thing is a game. changer. Ever since moving to Texas, I suffer from terrible seasonal allergies. I never have in my life until now (turns out I'm allergic to a handful of trees that are native around here. Fun.) Some years are worse than others but this year is baaad. For the past few weeks my mornings have had me waking up congested and unable to breathe, blowing wads of snot out of my nose (sorry!), and with a itchy/scratchy sore throat. First thing I do is take an allergy pill and wait in misery until it finally seems to kick in around mid morning. (I've had a terrible time finding meds that work too. It just sucks.) I don't know why I never thought to get an air purifier. I guess when I thought of air purifiers I'd always think of the fancy Dyson ones that cost hundreds of dollars. I mean, puh-lease. Not happening. Then I found this little guy. Had great reviews, was the perfect little size for our master bedroom (216sqft), and reasonably priced with reasonably priced replacement filters. In a plee of desperation I talked my husband into us trying it. It got in yesterday (quicker than expected, yay!). I immediately unboxed it upon getting home from work and plugged it in. It says you only need to run it for about 15-20 minutes on high to cycle the room but I set that little baby on high with a two hour timer and let it run. When it was time for bed, I set the 6 hour timer on sleep mode. The sleep mode is great. It's a lot more quiet than I expected. I still expected to be able to hear a little white noise from it (which doesn't bother me at all) but unless I lift my head off the pillow and really listen, I can only just baaarely hear it. And I have it on my side of the bed about 3 feet away. Our home air system is louder than it on sleep mode. If you enjoy white noise, you could probably just run it on low and be fine. It has a button to turn off the indicator lights at night too so you don't have bright lights keeping you awake if that's a problem for you. Anyway, I woke up this morning with NO allergy symptoms. None. No congestion, absolutely clear nasal passages, and NO sore throat at all! I'm blown away. I'll try to come back and revise this review if my opinion changes but after the first night and the relief I was FINALLY able to feel from my allergies this morning I absolutely rate this thing 5 stars.
