I bought this Levi's denim shirt in faded black to wear as a layer during a trip to England and Scotland. I was a little disappointed when I received it because it is not fitted. I didn't like the snaps. However, each time I wore it, I began to love it more. The shirt washes beautifully. It is very soft and comfortable. The snaps are effective and superior to buttons in keeping the shirt smooth, and they are easier to close and open. In addition, the shirt goes with almost everything, making it an optional layer for numerous outfits. I prefer to wear it as a shacket, open with a shirt underneath, rather than as a shirt. The denim is heavy for a denim shirt--more like jeans fabric than button-down shirt fabric. I put it in the washer and dryer and it did not shrink. It is true to size, with ample room to snap closed over the breast area.

I was looking for a new denim shirt and searched Amazon and other sites to find it. I wanted something that was not too big, but not too small and was long enough, but not tunic length. Sizing is so wonky and you can't always trust the size charts, especially for oddball brands. Anyway, I had this Levi shirt in my cart for a while and kept hesitating because of the price. Ultimately I went for it! I'm so glad I did. This shirt is true to size and excellent quality. Not too heavy, not too light and a real classic. Love the pearlized snaps. Great shirt and just what I wanted.

Nice shirt. The length hit me in the wrong place and made me look block-y. Wish the shirt were longer. Typically everything else in Levi's brand fits me perfectly. Loved the weight and feel. Have to return though.

I usually wear a 3x, but Levis is notorious for making plus-size clothing that runs small. I honestly could have bought my usual size, but those snap buttons had me worried that they might gap or pop open, so I sized up. Pros-- very soft, VERY stretchy, and the color is deep blue. It is flattering; I am 5'6, and it sits at my natural waist. This denim shirt is not cheaply made. (I got one at Torrid a few weeks ago for double the price and far lower quality. ) Also, the shirt is great if you have larger arms. Cons-- the stitching is really pronounced, so it looks just a little narrow in the shoulders. It is fairly thick, so if you live in a warmer climate, you will probably get more use out of it in fall or winter. Overall, it is one of the nicest denim shirts that I have bought in a while. If you are a curvy woman of generous proportions, you will not regret this purchase.

My shirt was PERFECT! According to the reviews, it runs small so I ordered a large. I haven’t washed it yet but it fits perfectly with just enough room that if it shrinks it will still fit nicely. I love the snaps, and it’s not too long for a short person. Good medium weight and color is as pictured. Good job, Levi’s!
