I've worn Levi's since the 1970s. My waist is 2" inches bigger now, but it hasn't changed in 25 years. Levi's are well known for their quality and consistency, but in my case, I've had some difficulty with the consistency of the waist size. I've got some older Levi's (stone washed 505 regular, just like these) in a 1" larger waist size that are much tighter than these, even after stretching, and always washing them in cold and hanging them to dry. For the first time ever, I bought a pair of these from Amazon instead of retail. I ordered the same size I've been wearing (34W 32L), and to my surprise, they fit perfectly! So I ordered two more pair (which also fit perfectly). I've read in a few places that the Levi's sold on Amazon are somehow different from the retail ones, but I inspected these carefully, and could not find any differences. ... show more

The fit of these jeans is amazing - I wore the 501’s for a little while, and they’re definitely tighter / snug around the thigh and crotch area. These strike the perfect balance between roomy and fitted - you get the same feel of the 501’s except you also get that extra room, perfect for when you’re bending, crouching or even sitting. Also, the quality feels good (so far). I’ve bought a couple pairs of these and for the most part, they’re great. But the sizing was inconsistent! 2 pair fit great and one pair wears a size too small. Not cool. Too late to return and I’ve spilled stuff on them.

These are the older style 100% cotton, non-stretch Levi 505 jeans. They are a little heavier than the ones with a little bit of Spandex. They are classic fit, classic material Levi jeans. Perfect.

When I first tried these on I'm like holy smokes these are the most comfortable jeans i have ever imagine. This was just a test fit to see if they fit me. But petty much i normally go with 30 dollars or less jeans but end up a year later with holes in the crouch area of the jeans. Because I'm buying cheap jeans not jeans that last for years to come. But hopefully these will last a year or 2. But they really need to last a lifetime not wear out in a year. I walk a lot in the city and i always had that problem with the hole in the crouch area of the jeans. But Hopefully these will last a lifetime of use. I recommend Levi's because I have never had issues with them not fitting me. These fit perfectly with my 297 LBS 6 foot tall 40*32 guy who works in retail. 5 Stars for lightweight and comfort. ... show more
