I had very specific requirements- I wanted a carry on with 360 wheels, hardshell, and mostly importantly, one that had a separate compartment for my laptop. I was thrilled when I found this. I have used it on a couple trips already, and it has held up beautifully as a carry on. I haven't checked it in yet, so I can't attest to the sturdiness in that regard. The laptop compartment has many pockets, in eluding a separate one for an iPad as well. Be warned that the more you put inside the laptop compartment, it WILL make the space on the other side smaller. I couldn't put much in that compartment because I used it all for the laptop compartment, but the opposite compartment (not attached to the laptop was roomy enough. I can't see myself using this with anything over 3, 4 days. Such a great color too!

I had been researching suitcases for months and was so close to getting the Away or Beis set like others in the family had. But I really liked the dedicated laptop compartment. Since October, I’ve used the Level8 suitcase a dozen times - two trips abroad - both checked and carry-on. I even accidentally left my laptop in the front compartment on two international flights with no problems. It holds a ton, and, so far, I’ve had zero trouble with zippers. I’ve really enjoyed it, and I’m so happy I got this brand. Lots of nice touches… It’s sturdier than my huge Calpak. The price is unbeatable for the quality.

I took this bag to Europe for a 10 day trip and had plenty of room, I even had to zip the extender at one point for a smaller plane and it was fine. I then used it again for a long trip and honestly, it was probably my fault but the zipper bust because of being packed so tightly for 3 extended trips in 3 months. The company replaced it immediately (it was within warranty). I have a better understanding on the durability now, but considering what it went through I would say it was amazingly durable. And then if that fails, the company was true to their word and made it easy.

This bag arrived while I was in So. Amer. I really like this bag. The Front laptop compartment will be VERY USEFULL. My 15.6 DELL Inspiron fits nicely, along with mouse, pad, charger, ETC. with plenty of room left. I have packed and unpacked it three times, using different clothes and items. Going to be a winner. Easily held a week’s worth of clothes. I also bought a small duffel to replace my 19 inch backpack that contained the aforementioned laptop, which was way too heavy. I travel 2 to 4 times a year to Brazil and this bag will make my travels much easier. Can hardly wait to use.

The basic design I like, but I wish the first compartment had more space at the bottom. And The two luggage compartments on each half have limited space in depth due to the collapsible puller handle takes up too much space on one side and can’t get as much in the luggage because of the obstructed depth and the other side is affected by the compartment on the front of it limiting depth as well.

READ IF YOUR CASE IS LOCKED 🔒 Mine came locked, like many others have stated. I also had misplaced the tag with the instructions, as I bought this several weeks before my trip. So I had to go through reviews here to figure out how to unlock it, which didn’t give much luck. BUT, I finally figured out that the part that looks like a keyhole actually slides in the direction the little arrow points. So, set the numbers to 0-0-0 and then use an earring or pen and push in the tiny silver button all the way til it stays. Then, push to slide the square piece with the keyhole in the direction of the arrow, and POP! It unlocks! I hope this helps. Still no idea how to set a pass code but at least I can access and use it now LOL

I spent way too long looking at luggage for traveling, reading reviews, trying to find the perfect carry on. This is about 80% there. Not perfect in my apparently high luggage standards. But I don’t know if perfect exists with out having to sell my kidneys to afford it. However, for the price this fits the bill perfectly. I’ve flown twice with this as a carry on now and here’s my take. Pros: love the laptop compartment. Easy maneuverability. Wheels seem good, I think time will tell more. Great color, I like the overall look of it. Really like all the pockets and the extra mesh zipper pocket that clicks into the sides of the case is super cool. Cons: feels bulky. The expanding feature, although nice to know its there if I need it, even closed makes it feel like a large carry on. Been stopped prior to boarding to make sure it fits. Although never problem fitting in over head bin. I was hoping for something more sleek. I personally don’t find it heavy, but would not classify it as a light weight carry on. Probably the opposite. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It was in the price range I was willing to spend and had the majority of the features I was looking for.

I travel a lot and bought this suitcase as a temporary. I normally buy very expensive carry-on bags and I use this one every time now my others are just collecting dust I highly recommend it and I want to buy the larger size too. The wheels and the action and ease of carrying it through a an airport with my backpack on the handle has been a pleasure. It’s made travel a lot easier and as we all know traveling sucks now.
